I don't see how that is any different from message boards.

a message board is essentially a chat room, but with organization, context, formatting, and sometimes actual sentences presented in a way that is easy to read. the former is therefore the superior communications system. it is far superior for having actual discussions.

unfortunately things like sms and twitter which enforce brevity while also making messages completely unreadable. these things impede exchange of ideas more than they help. and chat rooms are a bloody mess.

Care to show me where this one is openly advertised?

Secrecy through obscurity is still secrecy.

Go on, I'll wait.

Oh like how it gets posted regularly.

Oh like how it's posted on mwomers.com?

Oh like how it took me 3 seconds to find the link?

You shutting your eyes to things happening around you and/or just being incompetent is your fault, not that of some *secret tryhard cabal* which you've never actually bothered to explain or describe.

Great, you seeing it used poorly does not preclude its use in effective discussion and communication.

To be fair, the MM/PSR system we have now is a result of the discussions your cabal had with PGI on discord. That hasn't exactly worked out great.

Still waiting on that MWO page that advertises the link to the discord...

Edit: Out of curiosity, what page did you find that link on? That one shouldn't be too hard... only took you 3 seconds.

Oh you mean the one where numerous people from all sorts of skill sets, backgrounds and interests came together to discuss and put forward an effective proposal in the time alotted?

Slam dunk mate. Perfect example of a scary chat room being used for informative and positive discussion. You were saying?

PGI deciding to add groups into the mix, ignore any concept of tonnage, ignore cadets and ignore MS suggestions is irrelevant. But go ahead, keep whining about the bad people doing the bad thing because you were too lazy to click on a link and contribute.

You own inability to navigate a website is *your* fault. It's not some secret cabal's.

Cool story bro.

Have anything else to whine about people not inviting you to the cool kids club, despite access being free, readily available, and strongly encouraged?

You can say that about the Trump administration's COVID response plan, but like the former, you guys are responsible for ignoring science and evidence based arguments in favor of a nothing burger idea (because it is literally backed by nothing) and so you deserve the result and reputation you're receiving.

Just an embarrassment.

Oh look it's the guy whose proposal was ignored because it didn't check any of the required boxes, didn't submit it in an appropriate fashion and still won't shut up about how no one cares about all his effort and is continually blaming other people who actually put effort in for the failings of PGI.

Lmao.

Next.

I think you'll find you're the one that's failing.

I made the claim the link was obscured and you claimed it was readily available (in 3 seconds no doubt).

I asked you to provide the page and so far you have failed to do so.

Neat.

Turns out *math* doesn't solve problems, but applying it appropriately does. Oops.

Nor does *appropriate application* solve the problem of your end result being completely confounded by significant changes.

Lmao.

Yep, I'm actually lying about finding the link in 3 seconds.

The secret cabal of toxic tryhards and myself decided to inform compel PGI's webmaster to put the link in extremely obscure, often coded locations, so only other toxic tryhards could find it- but we made sure they kept it just public enough for some amount of plausible deniability. Yep. You found out the secret. Your account will now be injected with autocad aimbot.

Good job putting together words you clearly don't understand the meaning of. It perfectly represents Jay Z's entire proposal.

Cool story. Why not update your umpteenth thread complaining that no one listened to you again while trashing dozens of other community members?

An idea proposed by dozens of community members is automatically deserving of respect? Is that what you're saying? Stop drinking your own Koolaid. An idea is good if it works, and bad if it doesn't. If you think having numbers will insulate you from criticism, think again.

Yes, the work of dozens of others because you failed at presenting anything worthwhile is absolutely worth defending. Especially when the context is the presence of systems which allow dozens of people to collaborate is what is being questioned.

Hurr durr context hard.

Turns out an idea that isn't appropriately presented doesn't work.

You failed.

You whined and complained that no one was listening to you. You failed to appropriately present your idea. You continually acted childish, combative, refused to co-operate and were ignored.

Get over it.

The selected system worked, and it worked better than yours.
