Next mech should be a clan mech because the last released mech was a IS mech. Would love to see the Firemoth/Dasher but I guess it's too fast for the game engine in combination with the masc.

What I would love to see is that thing (Behemoth) here:

IS Omnimechs / Engine Discussion

XL engine needs to be survivable if we are to push fixed IS XL engine, even if it's just for the Omnis. People can survive 65 KPH on a BJ sure, I agree. But it'll be basically like Urbie effectively like a medium mech, the BJ Omni would basically be a small Heavy mech to compensate anyways.

The free mech thing is great... Although, I didn't like the mad cat as much as I thought I would.... I have a few on my main account, but Ichose to sell the mad cat and get another fnr 5. No offense or anything, I just had a feeling I would like the fafnir better.

Would be good to see them, yet I also think that inclusion of the list above would greatly compliment the available roster, along with the classics (especially that I've included Stiletto and Fire Falcon). :)

something that crossed my mind is using existing mechs like say the catapult that have existing variants that have more tonnage and weapon systems could be scaled up or down to make variants of the same platform. this could be done easy with say the sunspider you could have a 30t, a 50t and a 95t variant to go with the 70t already in the game. then give the IS their own variants of the the sunspider. from these groups you could easily build a new player pack that would give them both IS and clan 4 mech packs to play faction with.

Could you make a Mech with its arms in the air? That way the weapons wont be below line of sight. I know there are a few mechs like that but most have limited set up ability.

What hardpoints and what weight class do you imagine your 'Mech should have?

some more asymmetrical mechs like this would be interesting. though this looks Clanner to me, though could work for IS (i know its a an actually mech i just did an image search so not sure what one. its not one i remember from my TT days)

Here's the thing . . . Low Slung Arm Syndrome should not exist. Mechs are supposed to be able to lift their arms. That's why they have arms. So for example a Griffin should be raising its arm to fire its PPC from shoulder height, maybe using the same in-game mechanism that opens the missile bay doors on your Archer before it fires.
