imo better match making in all queues and unmerging would grow the game more
But that can not be done with a simple xml edits
Appearing to work on the game with pointless xml edits is a smoke screen that wont grow the game imo

At what cost
The rest of the playerbase?

Appeasement is not the answer
If their ape noises are disruptive, they should be moderated

I've played mainly LRM for years now. Currently it is the hardest to make work that I have ever experienced. Requires specialized points in the skill tree, and a much more active playstyle than it had in previous years. Requires smart positioning, awareness, and forethought. Has numerous "bad" maps which tend to be popular.

Any further nerfs to lrm/atm, or further buffs to ams will just kill the whole weapons system.

AMS shuts missile down hard. So hard, I feel like quitting the game after some matches. I feel like it is too good of a counter for the tonnage, the fact that it works on mrm, ssrm, and srm as well is just ludicrous.

There needs to be more to this game than a bunch of morons running in a counter-clockwise circle, firing ballistic weapons at each other. Occasionally Wolf-packing in lights is not enough variety to keep this game alive.

This game needs more variety in viable weapons systems, playstyles, tactics etc., not less.

Great don't play them no one putting a gun to your head. Please don't ruin the game for other people who like to play all the weapons

No need to mess with velocity.

Increase the spread of both.

Alternatively ghost-spread, the more missiles you fire simultaneously the large the spread.

Nerfs boaters without hitting light mechs.

Or just add rng to all weapons like in the hbs battle tech. Everyone gets nerf enima. Did that dual lbx 20 build miss and hit a rock when you were 81m from a mech? Yes,it did. Did that lrm 5x2 avoid your tri ams nova and head shot your mech? Too bad! RnG baby!

It's been eternal but LRMs REALLY get people riled up in this game for some reason. Note that SSRMs never get people riled up. So it's not lock on weapons, it's LRMs.

And I don't get it because as I've said LRMs are pretty situational. I feel you have to work harder with LRMs a lot of the time than say MRMs or PPCs. But I think people get pissed because "no skill lock on weapon system doing all the work". I think people discount all the work that a LRM player has to put in to get around ECM, AMS, and hard cover.

I don't play LRMs much because I'd rather just peak cover, point, and shoot.

I still do that playing LRMs peak cover and shoot as well in indirect combining some direct fire in. People really misunderstand this weapon system how to really us it's fullest potential. You should be able to do well on any map with them and you can

What? Streaks annoy plenty of people. I would say they are the most in need of a rebalance.
