I have a proposal for a future event/sale.

International Friendship Day 30 July. Or International Day of Families on May 15.

Sale Idea - Bundles of related mechs IS/Clans for sale:
1) Jenner / Jenner IIC;
2) Hunchback / Hunchback IIC;
3) Orion / Orion IIC;
4) Marauder / Marauder IIC;
5) Rifleman / Rifleman IIC;
6) Warhammer / Warhammer IIC;
7) Highlander / Highlander IIC.
Possibly other bundles of related mechs if you make new mechs, for example, Urbanmech / Urbanmech IIC or Rakshasa / Timber Wolf.
Of course, you will need to add some more tasty treats to these bundles.

For the event, you can make a set of tasks:
kill assist, savior kill, scouting, UAV detection, UAV damage, UAV kill, TAG damage, TAG kill, spotting assist, lance in formation, AMS missile destroyed, protected light, protected medium, protection proximity, counter ECM (can be a counter ECM locked damage, although I personally really dislike this achievement - it is very rare, difficult to do), capture assist.

Note, there are no tasks that encourage solo action: solo kill/KMDD, hit and run, flanking, headshot, 500 matchscore in 1 match, components destroyed, personal damage, personal matchscore and etc. Only encouraging action in teamwork.
Perhaps some tasks for the above bundles of mechs, for example, 250 DMG Jenner OR Jenner IIC.

But it's a Wolf and Dog... No Cat to be seen?

Maybe it's the Purple Haze.. Or some Foxey Lady took the Cat to her Castle made of sand? I don't know..

Timber Wolf received the name Mad Cat in the Inner Sphere.

The Assault Battlemech Mad Cat MkII was given such a name by the Diamond Shark clan specifically for better selling it in the Inner Sphere. This name (Mad Cat) is more common in the Inner Sphere than Timber Wolf. Such marketing of the 31st century.

The first time that Inner Sphere pilots encountered the Timberwolf, their sensors couldn't tell what it was. Its missile pods caused the computer to identify it as a Catapult, but its arms and elongated cockpit caused it to think it was a Marauder. So it flipped back and forth between the designations. Mad-Cat-Mad-Cat-Mad-Cat.

I agree.
But one thing I still cannot understand: why the computers defined the Catapult as "Сat" and not "СPLT"?

Perhaps for English-speaking people this is true.
For Russian-speaking people it would be more natural to abbreviate "Katya" or "Kata". Or with love "Katyusha"

Hi i feel the website could use a bit of an update the bundles are hard to read what is in them accurately (not everyone visits the forums) and if you add newer bundles please at least have them somewhat similar in value from previous bundles..

I enjoy the deals offered in Bundles of Joy, bought 70% of them. But this February Bundles of Love are very disappointing. The bundles don't translate to good buy, most of them are bloated and expensive.

I'm very disappointed as I was excited about the bundles when it is announces that there will be more bundle offers coming up. This morning when I check the website and notice the bundles I was happy for a moment but when I look clearly at them, it is a total disappointment.

Just hope that the next bundles will be more value buy rather than the current bundles with unnecessary decorations and inflated prices.

Bundles of Joy: priced to move! THANK YOU!
~I also bought 70% of the packages (in terms of number of packages).
Lots of MechBayx13 packages.
Multiple North Pole Special packs.
1 each of the IS Special Variants (all IS mechs with the "Snowfall" camo).
4x BLR-1G(S) packs, for Faction Play.
A few Clan Hero Bundle of Joy packs also.

Bundles of Love: I too was *really* looking forward to announcement details for this, but felt somewhat disappointed.
~Price structure was very different (prices dearer, shall we say?)
~No more incidental MC bestowed upon us. (previously 1,250 MC per pack).
~Even GSP is now 'only' 50 GSP per mech. (previously 100 GSP per mech).
~For a lot of the Bundle of Joy packs, frequently I already have 1 of the 2 mechs, so reluctantly have to pass on some of them (eg: I already have TBR-Warrant, UrbanMech Streetcleaner, Roughneck Powerhouse).

==>Here's to new Bundles next month following more closely with the Dec'2020 Bundles of Joy price/item structure!

This may be a controversial ask, but I would personally dig (S) versions of the Founders mechs, along the lines of what just dropped for the Phoenix mechs.

Even as an "Overlord", I thought the Phoenix (S) bundles were cool enough that I bought them all anyway, and with the alternate camo specs and (S) designation rather than (P) it lets the "Phoenix" owners that feel it's important still feel unique (I'm not one of those myself, but still, it's a nice middle ground that I think can satisfy everyone).

Would be cool to see the same for the JR7-D, HBK-4G, CPLT-C1, and AS7-D, in my opinion. Keep the geometry, give them the (S) designation, slap the Snowfall camo on them with the same colors the Phoenix versions had and call it good. I'd buy all 4 of them immediately.

*Edited to add that, down the road, might be nice to see (S) versions of a similar fashion for the "Base" variants of all the mechs from the in-game bundles that were released before the Mech Packs became the norm, since they missed out on an (S) version of their own being released the way they were.

I just wish I could buy these bundles in-game. I have money on my Steam account from ages ago, and I can't afford to buy them out-of-pocket at the moment, so I have no way to use the Steam wallet to grab 'em. Sad day...
