Go to the store, pick a light mech with lasers (I used the LCT-3M), take to testing grounds, hold A or D and fire the lasers. You will see the effect you are claiming as a hack.

There are wallhacks for this game, there are aimbots for this game. People use lag shields using this game. People stream snipe, pad their record and cheat in solaris with friends and unit members. They play on multiple teams for comp to steal others rewards, these are all facts.

They exist, in every game always have. If you think there is not cheaters in this game. You are delusional. Am I saying a high percentage? No, very small. But it only takes a handful to occasionally wreck it for everyone.

Dude, you're asking for a ban wave here. That wording would suggest you have encountered numerous players you suspect of hacking/cheating. Even if not provided to the forum (seriously, just report it to PGI if you think it's legit hacking or cheating), you won't get far without evidence on claims as heavy as hacking. If a player is in fact on multiple comp teams within a given comp tournament, inform the tournament's admins so they can deal with the offending player.

Also, for clarity: pre-aiming, Target Spotted command wheel pings, seismic sensor, general situational awareness, map knowledge, object permanence, a steady hand, AMS matchscore farming, poor routers, and living in the oceanic regions on the far end of this blue marble of ours isn't hacking or cheating. Its merely playing the game, and nobody deserves to be punished for just playing the game because you can't wrap your head around how somebody managed to outplay you.

Honestly, this more of a bug than a feature at times to me. Like when the low detail models haven't loaded yet, and they are ugly as **** to look at, and the poorly shaped hitboxes of the terrain.

I can't hit them of course, but at times I may see them coming.

Did you even submitted the name of the cheater, and the Match ID?

I mean yeah, sure cheating can happen, But IIRC, these matches are recorded, and the staff could just as well watch the game in question and confirm any hack.

We've been asking for a replay/demo feature for years. It doesn't exist.

I can tell you from experience, when you get in contact with somebody from PGI about a suspected cheater, they will spectate the games live - that's literally all they can do. There's no demo recordings unfortunately. That would be amazing.

i have noticed an increase in headshots as of late. i sometimes look those players up on jarls and they are usually in the 99th percentile and have fairly consistent results. most of the time i don't care and move on.

i did get one hit in a fresh stormcrow a few days ago, but seeing as it was my warm up match and i was in a state of delirium from receiving my second covid vax (marijuana and/or tequila may also have been involved), i wrote it off as poor reaction time on my part.

There is a database of all matches played. It lists all the players in the match, their mechs, scoreboard info like who was alive, total damage, etc. Maybe it goes into more detail than that, but not to the level of reconstruction of the match.

There is also the match data API, which is used by competitive leagues to import match data to verify results of comp matches using these match IDs. It's better than manually typing in match results which is what we did for like six years.

It is forbidden to discuss cheats or the usage of them on the forums. If you want to outline what you think is a misconduct, go ahead and use the ingame report function or contact moderation@mwomercs.com with a screenshot that shows the match ID.

I took the 3M to training grounds and followed your instructions.. I couldn't replicate the effect. Laser was straight dead nuts on arm-locked reticle.. video still remains suspicious.
