For the life of me, I still don't understand how an uncharged Gauss Rifle explodes and I think the click-release method is clunky (and could use a louder audio cue). I would prefer one click to charge (making rifles vulnerable to explode), one click to fire. Uncharged rifles do not explode.
I'm not thrilled that the timing on my Snub20 Cent or HeavySnub20 Misery are off, but it's not game-breaking. Haven't really hopped in my 4Snub Warhammer much, though, and it was just starting to get fun.

Machine guns will forever plinkplinkplink and do damage, but missiles that clunk into a mech at greater velocity do zero damage. Riddle me that.

Yesterday i stumbled over a video from TheB33f. Where he is excited about a PPC velocity buff for ER-PPCs to 1200. Now IS ER-PPCs have a velocity of 2200. WTF?

They need to make a standing cockpit item like they did with the island.. with a shc, veagle or direwhale shooting off ppc's.

That's why you keep moving and use cover.
The only difference right now is what weapons get used to do it.
Frankly, if you're going to stand out in the open like a moron, you deserve to die like that. And you have no business playing ANY kind of shooter either.
You should be reminded that MWO actually massively BUFFED Armor and Structure compared to BattleTech. We should actually be dying even faster to some of these weapons, which is why remaining on the move, and using cover and low visibility to your advantage is central to being a mech pilot.

I've seen enough of your posts over the years to know that.
In any cause, instead of whinging about it, given Daeron and PGI actual actionable intel on how it could be helped.
As the saying goes, "Don't bring me problems, bring me solutions."
And FYI, if you choose to pilot a medium or light, you really need to take it for granted you're squishy as hell, regardless of the amount of armor you put on it, or the skills invested, and use the cover on the map and your superior mobility.
And there's always going to be stuff that can vomit ridiculous amounts of damage and core even Assaults in a single Salvo. As anyone who's ever been on the recieving end of a Dual HGauss from a Fafnir or MRM40s on an IV-Four can attest.
