PGI did also state they were rolling back the March patch, so the March values were never really the starting point anyway.

Why do you think i want to run 3 SnubPPCs? Posted Image

Quirks for the Dragon are rather disappointing. I was hoping for a PPC HSL+1.
3xSnubPPCs + 2xSRM4s is the only config i consider worth playing.

For the rest, so much new configs. I´m really looking forward to test them all.

I thought you were saying that you theory crafted a brawler with three snub PPCs and were disappointed that there wasn't a PPC HSL+1 to allow it to work.

That's what I got too... what was he hoping for? 3 heavy PPCs? Maybe he wanted 4 Snubs?

I expect that there will probably at least be a weapon sale with the upcoming patch, but I'm hoping that mechs and engines also go on sale.

I had been looking forward to the PTS to test builds on a variety of mechs including on ones that I don't own yet (don't get me wrong, it's way better to go live with the changes than have PGI just twiddle their thumbs when they found out that they couldn't get a test server, but I'll still miss having the opportunity to test builds). I'll buy some of the mechs I was planning on testing if they go on sale, but I won't be able to afford all of them.

AC20's - Minimum heat penalty level increased to 3 (from 2) – Fire 2 with no penalty. (Clan Only)

COMON!!!!! Why clan only? My King Crab cries in ghost heat assigned to a STOCK LOADOUT....

All I wanted was my dual AC/20 Jager mech and King Crab without Ghost heat... WHY did you guys do IS dirty like that?!?!?!?!

I believe that dual IS ac20 for some mechs as king crab will be high manageable also without HSL dedicated quirk.
Just say thanks to incoming weapons balance again...

Many thanks.

The only change I do not agree with is removing AMS ammo explosions. There should be some risk to boating ammo-based AMS beyond just the tonnage cost. This runs the risk of being an indirect blanket nerf to missiles of all types, while at the same time providing the benefit to AMS Mechs of risk-free crit-padding.

I rarely use AMS except when an event is on with MC rewards that requires AMS use, so I can live with this change even though I do disagree with it.

Next, if we can just get Groups removed from the QuickPlay queue, do a Mech Rescale Pass, and revert Engine Desync (or improve agility just about everywhere as already mentioned), we could be in for an Operation Revival for MWO.

Thanks to Matty-Daeron and those in the community who dedicated many hours of their time to working through the logistics of making these changes happen. It is impossible to please all, but this patch is the best patch since 2016.

All these patches...

All these changes...

And still :
- My KGC-000 has one weapon on his right arm at the wrong place!
- The terrain texture bug on Grim Plexus has not been fixed yet!

Come on guys...

WHEN ?!?! :'(

Changes look very interesting and everything but please... please... PLEASE...: Let's fix bugs first! :)

Good to see the IS is getting some more Tanky ECM invisible mech because they don't have enough already. (SARCASM)

I am happy that masc is getting a buff. I do hope the turning speed goes back to normal, though.

MASC is returning to preMarch values (turning speed better again) AND it is getting what amounts to a bit over double duration compared to the past.

I am going to buy the Black Jack complete collection as my thanks for this patch and to test out some of the weapon buffs, unfortunately, I have been checking the sales everyday, and haven't had the opportunity to buy it yet. Was hoping I'd get it before the patch, but I guess I still have one more shot at that. If not, I already have a variety of re-builds ready to go with mechs I already own.

I am so excited.

Personally, if I was the marketing manager for MWO:

1) Random "Flash Sale" of Premium Ultimate Packages at 50% Off or 12 Hours of the day, once or twice a year.
Basically announce this on http://mwomercs.com when it happens, because:
1a) This keeps players reading this above MWO webpage everyday hoping for more Flash Sale, and
1b) Some MWO players would try to decide which Premium Ultimate Packages they would want to get, further stimulating desire to buy!

2) In view of the now well documented upcoming mech quirk tweaks, it is a gamble of sorts for players to buy Premium Ultimate Package(s), so this 50% Off Flash Sale would be further justified!

you're misunderstanding the term; the person you're replying to was simply correcting someone with the same misunderstanding.

TTK = time to kill, or the amount of time it takes to kill a mech. therefore a higher time to kill would mean it takes longer.

Anyone who thinks these changes do not speed up the time to kill on mechs are deluding themselves..

you're misunderstanding the term, but also you know for a fact that the weapon pass is going to be followed by mobility, quirks, and rescale, all of which are designed to increase TTK. So why pretend this is happening in isolation?

Fair enough but i feel with all that the TTK will still be massively lower.. than it is at this time.

Sure, but higher TTK still means longer TTK, so what you really meant to say was lower TTK. That is the only point I was making.

Not quite the same, and with a very annoying "reset" at the end, but you can take 'mechs you don't own, customize them in the store mechlab, and try them in the testing grounds. At least it's a step up from Smurfy. :)
