Blood Asp might be nice to do 4 ERPPCs on, Shadow Cat looks crap.

The new Scat lets you pack up to 6 lasers (mixed with existing RA and RT pods) compared to the current cap of 4, or you can mix and match those extra lasers with ballistics/missiles. It's not a superstar by any means but it is a very necessary and significant upgrade to an underpowered and neglected mech.

On a side note, there so far hasn't been a single light mech chosen in any of the 4 booster packs. 3 heavies, 3 assaults, 2 mediums, 0 lights.

*Sad light mech noises*

I guess that many Shadow Cat owners will want to keep the left torso wih ECM. Shadow Cat has always been a hardpoint starved 'Mech and even with this upgrade the situation looks not much better in this respect.

Who knows what will come in 2022! That being said, we are giving away an UrbanMech with ECM as part of this year's Loyalty Rewards Program!

It is a start but four booster packs without light speak for themselves.
Of course, I don't blame you/PGI since you go for what the community wants for the most part.

It is just a shame for there are many nice light Mech variants left like the Commando COM-4H with 6 missile hardpoints...

Maybe this new LT might give some incentive to try something other than the ECM LT.

Like I said, it's not some kind of superstar meta dominator but it will objectively make the mech better than it is now. IMO this is a better choice than Generic ECM/MASC Variant #42069.

The bolt-ons on the Shadow Cat look really cool. It would be nice to have more in game bolt-ons that look like cammo and armor, like the one on the Stalker and the Thunderbolt, for more chassis.

The BAS-E doesn't have any ballistics though?

Mandatory shameless plug for the FS9-C that has 6 missile and 4 energy hardpoints.

A ton of new missile hardpoints is a tough sell, especially for a light (historically the worst selling class). That sounds like a lot of modeling work.

On the other hand, it would also have a higher chance of selling enough units to make up for it, compared to something like an Adder with 2 extra lasers or whatever.

@Daeron, for that loyalty Urbie, how are you guys gonna handle the improved JJs? I'm guessing you'll just yank them out and replace with double the number of normal JJs?

Ordered! Also to an above question on the improved JJ, I'm guessing the extra Vent Calibration for JJ duration quirk will come in handy.

Hmm... That crazy "Predator Pack" offering... I wonder what some people will do when they can OmniPod a total of 7 JumpJets onto a Blood Asp at some point in the future? Sounds both dangerous and deadly, in many ways. :P

As for this.......

Hey people... Don't forget about introducing something on the Clans' side... For example, the Mist Lynx's "MLX-I" Variant with 6 Missile HardPoints could be something to provide options to them. :)

And as for the unrest about not having any Packs with Light Mechs in the last four... Perhaps there are plans in the works for the highly-wanted "UrbanMech IIC" to come forth at last? It is kind of overdue, I bet. :o

Any chance that the BAS-E will have ECM in its CT (just like BAS-A & BAS-B ) ?
