Also, don't forget that most lights are pretty well restricted on the amount of missiles and non machine gun balistic ammo they can carry in comparison to even mediums due to the inherent limitations of literally being lighter mechs with less overall free tonnage and space and even the few that do, such as the raven, Jenner, and Jenner IIC end up having to make significant sacrifices to even mount the sort of ammunition loads, again, even a lot of the mediums are capable of. And even then the devs have tried to quietly buff machine guns and certain energy weapons broadly used by lights to bring them to nearer versatility as what heavier mechs can carry.

The fact that pretty much every mech class has a bunch of mechs with ECM and AMS, with some like the pirahna variants itself being able to completely counter an individual LRM missile boat's, as primarily weapons also means for the most part, they aren't well suited as LRM carriers in comparison to even the next category up in mechs, and while MRM's can kind of get around the SRM and LRM problems of either relatively low damage for tonnage cost, high ammunition weight cost, ect keep in mind you still have the frame space issue on a lot of lighter mechs, and clans straight up can't carry them, getting ATM's instead, which I swear are constantly getting stealth nerfed and buffed.

And keep in mind, a ballistic or energy light mech, particularly as part of an experienced, coordinated group of such mechs can be pretty nasty, particularly against slower assaults getting left behind by their lighter and faster counterparts in their existing niche.

Like I said, it's not some kind of superstar meta dominator but it will objectively make the mech better than it is now. IMO this is a better choice than Generic ECM/MASC Variant #42069.

The Mishipeshu allowed a 4x SRM SHC build. Not as punchy as the ACW, of course, but in the case of the brawl builds the extra SRM mount was more valuable up close than the ECM. If it can reasonably handle the heat from 6x ERMLas or MPLas, you can make a nice little mid range striker. Hit, and MASC-fade away. Though at mid range, that ECM might be more worthwhile. The SHC has always been limited primarily by its hardpoints. The chassis itself is a fine piece of work on its own, but not being able to adequately arm it due to weapon slot limitations has long been annoying.

There is no Blood Asp mech with both ECM and +30% Cbills.

Both BAS-A & BAS-B are standard variants, with no Special Variant of these.

Therefore I was hoping BAS-E has both ECM in CT, and +30% Cbills.
(I would use Blood Asp much more if it has both ECM and +30% CBills, literally willing to buy this with real cash).

Ahh, I see. Want the c-bill boost too. To be fair, that build would practically print C-Bills as it is.

Blood Asp looks good. I don't really use Shadow Cats. But maybe I will with this new variant. Weren't we supposed to get some consideration into a new chassis later this year though?

Definitely buying this pack for the shadowcat, but have we gotten the quirks revealed for the hunter pack yet? Still wasn't 100% decided on that one because of the Phoenix Hawk.

I like the fact that PGI added the Partial Wing for the Shadow Cat. It would have been nice if the wing did something, but I think the 6 Jump Jets make up for the bolt-on being included.

I had not noticed it was an ECM urbie. My excitement level is quite high now. If only the K9 could have ECM I could enjoy the ECM with the siren that goes woo. My group simply loves when I roll my K9 and have the siren going the. entire. match.

That was pretty much my 1st thought for what can I make from those pods SHC-D (S).
6x ERML/MPL option is just about same as arctic wolf with more JJ and masc and less DHS, not sure if worth it.
