HI all, i have decided to build out this new warhammer they gave me, first in many years, so chime in on your builds, i have one that works using 2 large and 3 med lazers, and a few other goodies, but i wanted to take one to META BUILD.
so i ended up putting 2 Rotary 2s on it, little low, but the first shot is 4 er-med lazers at 400 plus meters, i got the heat right but a speed of 68, and started skilling him up, its has been working, but i feel a little like CAT, its a 68 point alpha strike, with a .3 sec delay on the guns, and i can get 2 laser shots in before hiding again, and its turns guys past yellow, but i have shoot and move.
WHAT are you guys building, any challengers to 1 on 1 to my new MECH i should have him skilled up some time next weak.

C) 2erll+2gauss

warhammer 9 lasers goes 4LL+5ermed 19 DHS alphastrike

He probably has 6R since he said "new", which indicates a recent giveaway event.

This build is probably the best for the current meta indeed.

Hold one button for charge, then release the button for gauss rifles and hit the ppc button at the same time so both gauss and ppc will fire at the same time, hitting the same spot for max pinpoint damage.

OP is talking about the Warhammer 6R, not the hero mech.

For the 6R, meta level builds include 2xLBX/10 + 6xML (and an AMS), or strip everything including the arms to mount an AC/20 and 3x SnubPPC.

Also 2x Gauss + 6 ER Mediums is good build. Either Light or XL engine will work, though with XL you will be super fragile.

Well, the recent one makes for my third WHM-6R (2 standard, one (S)).

I can't recall the engines and sinks off the top of my head, but I run...

• 2xLPL, 4xML, SSRM6, BAP
  
• 2xSNPPC (arms), PPC/LPPC combo in each side torso
  
• 2xPPC (arms), 4xLPPC, 2xLMG

They all work well enough in quickplay, but the laser-based build is my favorite of them. Mostly because I'm the type that likes to fight up close, most PPCs are for mid to long range.

Try UAC10s instead of those RACs. Bigger punch, less facetime.

HMM i think i tryed to put on 2 LBX 10, it is the FREE mech they just gave us, so its was 10 minute build, hehe i am finding folks to shoot, been getting few kills, hmm sure i can get the death strike 2 10s and 4 med and hold the speed but i will look : ).

Just curious, for this LBX10 + laser build... which one is better of the two?

A) WHM-6R
2x LBX 10 + 6x Medium Laser
+10% Cooldown (to all weapons)

B ) WHM-BW (Black Widow, Hero mech)
2x LBX 10 + 4x Medium Laser
+10% LBX weapons spread [ALSO: you can skill up the two LBX Skill Nodes for a total of +20% LBX weapons spread]

Personal preference, really. -A- does more damage and has arm lasers for UAVs. -B- runs cooler and has tonnage left for AMS.

-B- also has 2 lasers in the arms, because the widow has only 4 Energy hardpoints.

Overall I'd prefer the 6R for such a setup and go full Dakka on the widow - or even ER PPC/LGauss for the bit of extra range.

ok seems you all like the DEATH STRIKE build, but i have a MK2, and kodaik, built that way, and the gauss, my question to you is the speed, my present build with rotarys is a 65 KPH, if a remember right, and i have assault mechs that run just as fast, with many of the builts you all just told me about, ohh and the HEAT, i can shoot alot.

And take a boatload of return fire straight at your face. If 2xUAC10+4xML is an assault mech build for you, you're doing something wrong - and BTW, that one runs at 69.4 KPH.

im self use only UACsno more RACs ,the time for coming in Firemode is to long for Maps,who you must have fast reacting Fire and to many own Lancemates thats run in my Fireline..standing to many seconds by the same position is most suicide and RACs more for a standing Turret as a mobile warmachine

Hmm ok it seems i can fit 2 lbx 10s and 5 med lazers, i just gave a test run, had use light engine, so the next question i guess is skilling him up more, its alpha is still in the med 40s, thinking its ok for a 70 ton mech, i also have some others changes and /or skills, seems so far i will need more ammo, but i try it out : )

Use 4ML, go fast WHM-6R
