Courtesy of Navid, subject to change. I thought the forum goers might find this interesting.

Yes, the Executioner is currently too punishing to its pilot even with MASC because of its sheer size. Plus there are simply better long range options if that's your jam. Quirks will certainly be a welcome aid.

IRC the Executioner has incredibly high w/l rates in QP. but at the same time it is a very difficult mech to play

unless you are making heavy use of the mech's jump jets and masc, you are going to have a bad time trying to use it as a brawler/skirmisher. however if you can it becomes a very mean option. using it at moderate to long ranges, there are better mechs for that. the only real exception might be atm boats that work out ok at medium ranges.

EXE with 3 ERPPCs and a bunch of micros is incredibly powerful. Like, we all know how much work an ERPPC Veagle can do -- combine that with something with more armor and the ability to switch to a close-range buzzsaw. Very difficult to use but very powerful when used correctly

Thanks for sharing. I might give the EXE another look. Posted Image

Proposed Cauldron changes like these usually crop up just before the next MWO patch,
and patches are usually on Tuesdays.

May I endeavor to guess that the next patch date would be on Nov 23rd 2021 (Tuesday).

Any other gausses...oops...guesses? ;)

Take it easy, folks, mech chassis changes are coming in fast and furious, which is a nice change!

List of Cauldron patches listing mech chassis changes can be found here:

Looks like some interesting changes coming for the Executioner Chassis in the near future. Will be looking forward to those. :)

I'm honestly not having problems with Exe. It seems to me that they just have this narrow niche.

But hey I still have my Exe from that one FP event, I bought a Cherbi far back, this is nothing but good for me.

This is a good excuse for me to play mine they've been mothballed for so long I forgot I have them.

The last time that I can remember being serious about actually using mine has been a while. At that point in time, I was in a fight versus two Enemy Light Mechs and actually starting to get the upper hand. Then the server decided to eject me in the middle of battle, and made me come back to find my Mech destroyed out from under me. It has therefore been a major case of hesitancy to even think of piloting my Executioner Mechs again in the future, and this might finally give me the bump which I needed to do so once more.

Great where is their armor quirks? The rest is pointless when they fold so fast.

Did you miss the topmost note where it said they matched the armor quirks on all Nightstar variants with the 9J? That means +23 CT, +16 LT/RT, and +8 LA/RA. They got armor quirks, and ones that match well with other 95 ton IS assaults. What more were you expecting?
