Just played 5 games, and not one of them was above a 12-5.
That happens. People tend to forget the times when they win with a significant lead, and remember very well having days like you just had.

Got killed by a 25-ton 'Mech while I was in a 65-tonner. I'm mid T2, so it's not like I totally suck.
And? You don't have to "totally suck" to have a better player beat you. And simply saying "A 25 tonner beat me while I was in a 65 tonner" lacks all context that could provide clarity. What kind of situation were you in? What map? How badly dinged up were you? Did the smaller mech have friends? I've killed Atlases with PPC shots to the face in a 35 tonner, but I couldn't have done that without my team mates beating the tar out of it first. Makes sense when you provide context.

Saw yet another assault running nothing but LRMs, sitting in the back.
Oh boo hoo. So what? You don't get to decide what weapon's people bring any more than they can decide what you bring. We
all have to deal with other players bringing sub-optimal builds. Maybe they don't understand, or perhaps they do, and just like taking advantage of the other 11 players target locks. Just deal with it. Some games you're the bug, and other games you're the windshield. There is immense satisfaction taking out an LRM boat that's been tormenting you all match.

Got hit by snubs every .7 seconds or so until I died.
And in a couple of months, it'll be pulse lasers. Or maybe SRMs. Or everyone will be playing Urbies. Flavour of the month.

Canyon Network 4 times, Hibernal once.
Why is this even a complaint? I've played Solaris (ick) multiple times already today. Sometimes you get Polar. Or Forced Colony.

Tried multiple builds - JJ medium, brawler assault and medium, long-range sniper, face-time and laser-vomit heavy, etc. Didn't make a damn bit of difference, because it was somehow always a bad pic for the map/team composition.
Now this I can empathize with. It would be nice to have a drop deck for quick drops. So at least you have a chance to not be totally boned because people chose the one map that would screw your mech choice.
But on the other hand, can we consider ourselves good players if we cannot adapt to what map has been given?

Matchmaker sucks. Lights suck. Snubs suck. I think I'm just done.
If you can't beat them, join them. A Flea with a snub PPC and ECM is hilarious. Every few seconds, a PPC shot from out of no where. First time I ran into one, I took several hits before I could figure out what the hell was happening. xD
