No longer consistently available, but not completely unavailable either. Variants from the Steam Performance Packs feature in Dropship Deals if the base chassis is in one.

I'm not sure those Hatamoto changes will make much of a difference. But i for one will not miss the Terra Therma caldera area myself.

When Cauldron started, they set out to do a major pass on every chassis in the game. This is why there were so many months of very heavy quirk adjustments. Now that they've already completed this goal, the only thing left to do is observe the results and tune accordingly.

Furthermore, Cauldron doesn't really have influence over anything beyond simple balance changes - there's not really anything else for them to work together with PGI on. Bigger ticket items is 100% on PGI to commit resources and deliver.

You're forgetting a crucial detail: HBK-4SP doesn't have jumpjets. It can't poptart like almost every other MRM mech can, and thus there exists no reason to play this mech. It needs to be EXTREMELY more tanky to justify choosing to play this mech over a mech that can do the same thing but with JJs.

Also note that offensively the 4SP is quirked specifically for SRMs, and its generic offense quirks are quite small. It's primary role is a tank, not a damage dealer. Not being fast and nimble, and not having jumpjets, having merely average offense, but having a LOT of health altogether slots it comfortably into this role.

you can´t adjust them but you can turn it on/off. Look in the options, there is a key binded with "Cokpit Lights"

There’s only one that might make an actual difference but will be the cause of it being the only mech variant that will work. -30% UAC jam chance is a pretty big deal especially in a middle of a brawl and I already have a build in mind for it, however it’ll probably be the only thing that works while all the other builds and variants are going to be trash.

Patch seems to not have been sent through steam yet. I've restarted steam and my computer just to make sure, but it is not there yet.

Beginning -> Each time I launch it with Steam, it pulls down a tiny update. When I try to login to the game after launching, it says "There is an update available. Please update through your Steam client." Then back to "Beginning ->" again.

Yeah, Steam cannot update MWO after this Sept 20th patch, so I cannot play
