This is not classic Terror Therma.
The Donut in the middle is completly different. The dynamics within the match are completly different from real Classic Terra Therma.
That's why I called it Terra Therma Classic New.

Between most people having no coms, and the short countdown, every match I have had has finished by cap long before the better players are running out of mechs.

That's the problem I had today in the event queue on Terra Terma "classic".
At the same time, I could not choose the next mech from drop deck for disembarkation. The game did it for me randomly. And also. My disembarkation was delayed twice from dropship: I waited for the allotted time, the timer counted down to 0, but instead of disembarking, I saw the timer start the countdown again from 20-30 seconds.

I will clarify. The problem is not only that this is not a scirmish. The time of the match itself is too short for all the mechs from the drop deck to take part in the battle. I have played four times. Three of them ended with the actual match timer (not the domination timer). At the same time, I did not have time to use all my mechs in any of the battles - at the end of the match I always had one fresh mech.
P.S. PGI, the quality of the selection of teams in the event queue is lame on both legs, just like in all other modes.

The domination with dropdecks worked surprisingly well and was fun.

The timer (domination) and required ressources (conquest) don't really work for a drop deck match. In faction play this was adjusted, why not here?
The map is in an unfinished state. So many invisible walls eating shots, it's not funny. Sure, this is MWO we're speaking of, "invisble walls around who knows what" could be a trademark, but the amount of these around the central structure is way too much. And the upper floor part of the central structure is plain stupid for anything without at least one jump jet, because according to PGI, no mech can lift its foot about ankle height to step up a ledge of that height. If you feel the pressure to put some invisible walls into a map, put them there so it looks like a step but can be navigated as a ramp!

Now, if only I can get my grubby hands on that 4th UM-R80(L)...
But seriously, you can buy "50% Off" Urbanmechs for CBills, skill tree level these up with this Event very quickly!

Actually, I have to buy 3 if I want the rewards, because the only one of those stupid things I own is the one they gave me for loyalty or something...
And you know, I might have done it, at that - but I am not going to buy extra 'mech bays for a stupid Urbanmech.

So now that I've thought about it, I have to say that I actually kind of like the idea of an "Urbie Derby." I just don't want to have to buy 3 'mech bays for 'mechs I'm normally not tempted to own in order to participate.
