I am happy to see a new 'Mech in MWO, but having Hatchetman without melee is a bit pointless.

Two questions though:
-Early adopter bonus until January for a product released in december? I'm confused, is it a mistake?
-No cockpit item (warhorn in particular) with this mech/pack?

Make the hatchet fixed and an exclusive weapon that "shoots" invisible projectiles in a very low range. No need to add this for the other mechs, just the Hatchetman. You can do it, PGI (and it will sell A LOT more).

The 6D and the 7R look like they'd make for good (S) variants, as they're more unique and not so plain.

It should be cautioned: although you can sell hero 'mechs, you get CBills for them, but you have to re-buy them with MC.
And if there's no Special (S) variant: why not? Typically that's the "most common" variant (which would be an AC/10 and 2 medium lasers, in this case).

Axe (sword, etc.) does 30 damage per second, but only has 10 meter range?
(sort of like a very short range heavy heavy machine gun).
Any arm/axe melee mech animation is optional to me
