Does this require building Solaris specific mechs again or can we just use our regular Heavy Clan mechs ?!

I disliked most Events because of their sillyness but this seems reasonable and MechWarrior worthy!

You can drop in regular heavies as you could in the last event, but there's no escaping the reality that the event creates its' own meta...

The Plan is to do 1 Solaris Weekend Per Month

12 months =

• IS + Clans - Light, Medium, Heavy, and Assault (That's 4)
  
• Clan Only - Light, Medium, Heavy, and Assault (That's 4)
  
• IS Only - Light, Medium, Heavy, and Assault (That's 4)

So the Plan is the weekend right before the Patch is Solaris Weekend.
The Event, Challenge, (with XP and C-Bill Boosted Cockpit items) and Sale will all be present.

glad to see event queue absorbing retired modes. will it be able to do things like scouting siege and escort?

2v2 solaris stands to be good in eq. never really got to play a whole lot of 2v2 solaris during its heyday.

The reason why I dislike "Solaris Event" matches... 20-second builds everywhere build for kill a single alpha or die by heat-explosion. How many such silly builds I met the last time we got Solaris in EQ...

Still... I may drop some tomorrow and at least got a row of "quick death"... I see lot-o-SRMs already...
