Thanks for ruining the ******* TDR10SE.

For like... no ******* reason either. Did a TDR10SE with PPCs run over your dog?

Wouldn't the heat dissipation help PPC builds? I mean, it sucks that they took the only Armor quirks available on the Thunderbolt chassis, though.

Maybe too many bad memories from when the TDR was the toughest 'mech in faction warfare?

They took the Velocity quirk away. Also nuked the Missile Cooldown, which puts a double whammy on the MRM+Snubs build. It already had some heat dissipation bonuses.

Just ******* spiteful, purposeless ****. The only PPC that would benefit strongly from the cooldown is HPPC and there's already a TDR that is a shoe in for HPPC use, since it can mount 3 of them. Standard PPCs were fine, more cooldown just got you in trouble with the amount of heat buildup from the JJs. The 2 SNPPC+MRM30 build was fun and they just said "nah **** you lol". Other TDRs will do lasers better.

FP is dead, get the **** over it, Cauldron. God willing, it never makes a return. Go on, justify the ******* change. Do it. You're changing things just to change things. Almost wish I could refund Blight just to throw it in your face.

I haven't played it, but I figure as much.

Bet they are gonna be like "it's balanced at comps", or something in that line.

Yeah, the justifications would honestly be nice.

But my takeaway from the Caudron discord lately, is that: "you should know why they are doing things and agree with the consensus, else you don't know the game enough and unqualified to talk about it, and we're just gonna make fun of you if you try".

What can I say, power tends to corrupt, and absolute power, corrups absolutely.

To hell with those hateful buckets of gutter runoff. Just had to **** with something I liked, didn't they? **** you and your lasers, give me my Thud back.

Spite? Come on. They ditched the missile quirk on all the Thunderbolts; I really have a hard time thinking they did that just to nerf one particular build. And, it does have MASC. And Jump Jets. And ECM. That's a big mobility and survivability boost... I mean, forget lasers; should it do guns in general as well as other Thunderbolts? The loadout after patch still does 16.1 DPS with 3.3 alphas to overheat. It's less accurate with the velocity quirk removed, but that's not insurmountable.

Now, I don't know why a 'mech chassis I seldom see needed to have that missile quirk removed, either - though I suspect they considered it to be a bloat quirk that was added to assist the 'mech's stock build - or why they nerfed the 5SS's only effective builds. I don't know if I'd agree with the reasons if I did know them; but I doubt they're doing work on patches just to spite people.

That is what the justification comes in to clarify their position -- that wasn't there.

It's **** That Didn't Need To Happen, with no ascertainable good motivation for them doing it. At best it's "Look we're doing a thing!" The other Thuds all have (or HAD) some kind of neat Stupid Mech Trick, the TDR10SE was never super specialized because of the ECM/MASC/JJ and now they just made it blander. For REASONS.

I ******* HATE them. I liked that mech, I liked that loadout and how it felt, and these jackwagons just tip an apple cart to be tipping it and powertrip about all the **** they can muck with. Whether it was done to **** with one build or not is beside the point. The change was pointless, it negatively impacted something I liked and everything else can go to ******* hell as far as I am concerned. Nobody was ******* begging for this change, nobody was getting ******* facerolled by TDRs with ******* missiles and PPCs. This wasn't a balance change, it doesn't significantly benefit the chassis and it makes velocity builds more of a hassle.

Try submitting a help ticket or something suggesting a change back or change to something you would prefer.

This is not a bug or a glitch. This is a deliberate change introduced by PGI. I am not sure if the Tech Support can do anything with it.

I'd be satisfied with a reversion but I know THAT isn't going to happen. I'll probably have to settle for them knowing I hate their guts for this and hope it somehow blows up in their face, eventually.

Banshee mounts prioritize highest mounts? Finally! I used to have to do so many weird shenanigans to get things up top and it would make it pointless.

Hey where are my vapor ealgle glowing eyes?!

Where is my Scaleshot for MC?

Two things!

The lilypads were exploitable via user.cfg changes and players could see through them. They would offer no visual cover for some. We decided to remove them and remake the area to create a more balanced landscape between players who use user.cfg changes and players who don't.

We forgot to include it in the patch notes, but the bolton for the Vapor Eagle is glowing eyes. Here's a picPosted Image
yeah where are they? or is this only for the legend?

Re-read the patch notes.

"Scaleshot" (the Dragonfly Hero 'Mech) is not supposed to be available in the in-game Store now.

"Scattershot" (the Shadow Hawk Hero 'Mech) is available for Posted Image now.
