Bug with the Banshee 3M
if you put 2 medium lasers in the right torso, followed by 2 ppcs, the ppcs will be mounted high (correct). If you do the same in the left torso with 2 ML then a PPC, however, the PPC still prioritizes the hip location and one of the ML is pushed up.

Also, the second HPPC will always be placed on the hip in the 3+ laser right torsos, instead of the secondary high mount, no matter how you pad the lower laser mount.

yeah but how fast can you do that??? what are the actual stats what's the actual time?

I'm pretty sure the c-med pulse isn't shooting twicw in 2.25 seconds

C-MPL does 7 damage under 0.80, because that is it's duration. It's also doing more than twice the damage in a single pulse -- actually 7 / 1.5 = 4.6667 times a matter of fact, so it doesn't need to fire faster.

As for figuring out the 2.25s:

> 0.25s CD + 0.25s duration for IS, that is 0.5s between cycle.
> Damage is 1.5 with 0.9 heat, so that is 7.5 damage and 4.5 heat for 5 cycles, exceeding 7 of C-MPL.
> With 2.0s, divisible by 0.5s, the 5th cycle doesn't need to count the CD so it's only 2.25s, unquirked/skilled.
> Specifically, it's actually 2.1667s to match the 7 damage.
> While yes, we can just directly reference the DPS: 3.0 = (1.5 / (0.25 + 0.25)), as divisor to 7, that is actually at 2.333333s -- and doesn't account of the front-loaded 50% portion of the cycle.

XPLs are face-time weapons, they need high DPS to compensate -- the C-MPL aint. It's irrelevant.

Why with cooldown? C-MPL is a poke weapon, IS-MXL is a DPS weapon. If vs, the C-MPL would have dealt just 7 damage, while the IS-MXL could have dealt 12 damage, but taking account of front-loading will only do 3 damage since it can only burn twice, and deny the 3s or 6 cycles, or 9 damage because the C-MPL has the capacity to hide behind cover for 3 seconds.

I honestly forgot the exact values of the skills, and can't run MWO this time. Might want to do the math this time. I've shown you how to do it.

Yah, meant 5 AC2. My bad.

I’ve played the blight a fair amount with 5 AC2 and 2 Heavy Gauss. It’s honestly pretty powerful. I could see a slight buff if the rest of cauldron wants it, but I don’t think I’ll be the one bringing up.

I think, as a toxic compie, now is the part where I say “skill issue” to people complaining about the power level of the blight.

Also, if you are ever curious as to why we made any changes to balance(we as in cauldron, since I’m both in cauldron and a dev), feel free to come by to the official Cauldron feedback discord server. Contrary to popular opinion, it is a pretty chill place as long as people don’t get overly belligerent or argumentative.
