he did show me this

anyways I don't think its a bad idea but subtracting 4 tons for that shield is not something I would do
The Centurion for the most part is an outdated seldom used Mech
I would allow the same load out on the left arm as on the right arm
or just add weapon hard points to the left arm
still better make both arms functional
now if you add 5 tons to the Cent to compensate for the big fat shield I might consider buying one \
other wise paint that thing Gold

As you see, the shield takes up 5 slots in the Left Arm. It also takes up 4 tons. This is not equipment you can toggle, it is locked. We thought that making the shields actual equipment with locked tonnage and slots was the best way to ensure that these remained balanced as they're not "free" additions. Your mech has to pay something for that wall!
If we end up making more shield mechs down the road, we have a table built for Small, Medium, and Large shields with how much they will weigh and how many slots they'll take to keep things consistent.
who hurt you
You people hurt us a lot. It's a standard thing, release a mech make it tough.... and eventually nerf it. The Scattershot as an example, but then mocking people with who hurt you? We do expect better, lol
Otherwise an Upgraded Wang. I mean the Wang could just get the rest of the weapons it should have already had...

This won't get nerfed. It's balanced. Cauldron learns by mistakes, and the recent legends have been better balanced.
Also, the wang can run uacs better than the onyx

Standard thing that happened... once.
Also theres no logic for it. If you want to sell OP mechs theres no reason to nerf them it'll just hurt sales.

I dusted off my stripped Charger 1A1 after stripping it in disgust a long time ago.
I use a TC for 10% range, with maxed cool down and range skills. Cool down is now .7 seconds for ERSM.
Optimal on that build is 380M -- for a big LOL
Yeah it gets toasty, but drilling people with ERSM lasers at 450M or less and an assault going 90KPH is priceless. Gotta do face time with it though. It's only 26.5 alpha every ( .7 burn + .6 cool down = 26.5 damage every) 1.1 seconds.
I hate running assaults, but I'm really loving my charger now. It's still a close in face time brawler, but if you play it correctly, it's fun.

Yeah but you have to have thermal paste, and that adds another 2 tons, so no.
Wake me up when MWO2 is announced using the Unreal 5 engine. I can find a 100 bill for it and a "legendary founder" icon.
