I play LRMs. A lot of LRMs. Across all Tiers.
The default LRM hit rate, as in damage per missile fired, with my personal playstyle is around 45%. Can be a bit more on a LRM-friendly map, can be a bit less with plenty of AMS in the field. Overall not much of a difference though. The rest goes into terrain, or is wasted due to losing locks. It all comes down to "how many tons of ammunition do i bring" and "do i get to fire as many missiles as possible". Has been that way for years, and
none of the patches in the last two years have changed anything about that number for me.
I'm 12 LRM matches post-patch in now, and so far the numbers look fairly similar to before. Slightly lower (i'd say in the 35-40% region, without much AMS to counter). By observation so far that's mostly an issue of not getting the arc / firing distances for ledges and certain cover situations right yet (which is fairly important if you play close-range LRMs like i do). Give it another 5-10 matches, and i expect to run the same numbers as before.
