thats one of the things i look for in a mech personally, the diversity of builds i can do with it. if a mech only works well with one build it ends up pretty low on my list no mater how good it might be with that one build. i am always changing things up and trying new builds (well other than my Catapult-C4, she will always be my LRM darling.)

Good thing that PGI has just added one IS OmniMech with the possibility of adding other IS Omnis.

that doesn't help me at all, at least not right now. PGI charges far to much for their mech packs. i could use that cash to an entire game hell 2 if they are indie titles (there are some pretty good looking ones coming out right now). besides the "new" mech is just a clan mech is just a copy paste of the clan mech just heavier and with IS equipment. not all that exiting.

As I always say: The PGI's pricing policy sucks - and the same can be said about their store.

You could claim the pricing policy was bad in the Waves which were atrocious if you wanted an assault mech

The packs at 70ish dollars are way too much

The 20$ packs and 15$ battle pass mechs are a LOT better than a 40 Horse skin in Diablo 4

Not saying its good, just saying its not egregious like before because the times have gotten so much worse

"A LOT better" means that they still suck.

I have no intent to pay $20 to get four identical 'Mechs. I would be interested in buying just one, but not four. So PGI, in their infinite wisdom, gets nothing. Their problem, not mine.

Ditto for those "Legendary" Mechs with battle pass filled with junk that I am not even remotely interested in. If they do not give me the option to buy just the 'Mech - for lower cost, of course - they are going to get nothing. Their problem, not mine.

Ditto for their Platinum junk packages. I would be interested in buying just one 'Mech that I like for $5, but I am not going to pay $20 to get one 'Mech that I like ... and three 'Mechs that I neither want nor need nor I am would like to use. So PGI gets nothing.

yeah i picked up the Cyclops legendary a in the previous free Hero event and i almost only used it for a like 10 matches before it went into the mothball l fleet.

like everyone seems to gush on the War Emu Stalker but other than being a Stalker with ballistics there is just nothing there, no real interesting perks to draw me in. most of the Legendaries seem to get nerfed as soon as the non paying folks can get them.

Moonwalker 3xLB20X + ERPPC is a brutal mech.

Tonight I've had several 2-3 kill rounds, a 5 kill round, then I got this:

honestly i have been doing stellar with my Wolf Phoenix, getting regular 900+ damage matches since they buffed the Thunderbolt Velocity. though it seems it has nerf coming. for a while there i was almost feeling like the old days before the LRM giganerf. range is still short but hell i rarely use LRMs beyond 600m anyway so its mostly the same play style (unless i was raining on a sniper).

refuse to buy anything over $20, even thats a bit steep. i think im also done buying into incompleteable games.

Don't forget that the Legendary Mechs actually go on sale from time to time (we just had one recently)!

An even better value when on sale, as you also get 3000 MC, GSP, Premium Time, etc. etc. from the mini-BattlePass;)

unless they go on sale for only less than $5 would i even consider it even then i would have to think hard on it. preferably closer to $2 then i might. (i'm on disability so i have more important things to spend my limited funds on)
