(Similar to the MW5 Mercs Pre-Order mechs).
If there are nice Pre-Order Clan mechs that I can play in MWO, I'll be jumping to order this from GOG.com !
(Dire Wolf Omnimech with ECM in CT, but no JJ in CT, and both its left and right feet is freed up with no DHS, etc.)

I am wondering if this will have a tie in with MW5 Mercs for sake of post campaign merc missions vs Clans, clan salvage, and/or to continue the grind which is the clan invasion? Also, is this the first step forward in modernizing MWO with Unreal Engine 5?

1) Switching to Unreal Engine 5 - THANK YOU for listening to me on this.
2) A return to cinematics - finally! I missed this sooo much in MW5:Mercs.. and MWO for that matter.. And they seem quite good in quality.. almost enough to make me remissness of the golden time of games before CGI cinematics where you still had actors giving us gems like Cane, Tanya and James Earl Jones from Command & Conquer for example..
3) Did I just see chunks flying off an enemy mech?! 8D
4) Didi I just see chunks flying off a VTOL and landing in mini-explosions of dust on the ground? 8D
5) The story-driven nature of the game with 5 player COOP
6) Top-down RTS-like command of your star-mates.. Seems useful.
Things I did not like / am worried about:
1) The Command wheel seems clunky and slow to issue orders - Please give us also a number-pushing command style like in regular MW5:Mercs where you just rapid-hit a combo of numbers and your guys knew what to do..
2) The Story-driven nature of the game - Its great, amazing, and thank you for that.. but PLEASE, also give us a procedurally generated instant-action game mode separate from the story. Or one that happens after the main story, so we can keep playing without "re-playing" post-game. Let us conquer those planets on our own! 8D
3) I did see the "scanning" that looked wire-meshy... but please.. give us "enhanced imaging"..
4) As somebody mentioned earlier.. for mechs that don't have hands, like the Timberwolf.. a melee attack should be a KICK. Battletech did it.. so can you.
Great job so far.. can't wait to play Mechwarrior 5: Clans!
