New LEGEND! ZERO!

NOW AVAILABLE

OR

A note about Warhorn Selection for the Zero:
As we were wrapping up the Zero for the MechWarrior Online patch, we were also finishing Wolves of Tukiyyid. Things got really busy for the audio team as they were putting the final touches on the game, the cinematics, and the trailer. Because of that, we weren’t able to create a new Zero Warhorn.

Instead, we’re giving you the option to choose any previous Legendary Mech Warhorn as an alternative. I know some people will be a bit disappointed, but given the short timeline, this was the best solution we could offer to make sure players still receive something meaningful.

I trust I won't actually be unlocking Juggernaut warhorns with Zero...

I think knowing quarks about each mech is important. Can you please list those on the legends page? Thank you!

Your end make a mistake on the loadout, right torso is same as left arm.

Please correct the description in the mech specs.

Hello guys.
This mech why dont have the -50% fall damage quirk?
These partial mechs main trait is that when you use the 5 points fall damage reduction from the skilltree, you dont have any fall damage.
I tested Zero on the testing grounds , when you jump from realy high, example the ramps on Vitric station or HPG and you release the jump jets after some jumps youre legs get hurt badly than blown down.
So when Apache and Spectre have the -50% fall damage reduction quirk, this one why dont have it?
Fix it please , without this quirk the mech is very bad.

Is there a warhorn sound depository where we can hear each Legendary Mech Pack's warhorn?

It's like catch 22: if you don't already own the Legendary Mech Pack's warhorn, then you won't know what it sounds like...

I dont care about the warhorn att all, i have so many from the previsious events and legendary mechs that i usualy just randomly put one on the mech.
Which is more important for me , where is the -50% fall damage quirk on this mech?
Apache and Spectre have this quirk, so this one is why not?
That you guys equiped Zero with a shield, reduced the mech offensive even more than the previsious two winged mech, this shield cost another 2 or 3 tons on a light, plus the partial wing system another 1-2 tons minus, so thats the minimum that give this quirk to the mech.

It looks really fun, but it's a little disappointing that the light shield mech has by far the worst leg coverage out of the three shield mechs in the game. I still kinda want to buy it, but it looks like the shield won't be that helpful and the mech will have to be carried by the weapon quirks... Which means I'd probably rather just play the JR7-IIC-2...

hey guys im new to the community i think a lot of the vet players are quick to point out all the flaws and problems, while they bring up good points I'd like to also thank you for all the hard work you've done to keep this game alive all these years. I did not know i was missing out on this GEM and found it thru MW5 steam page.

would really love more advertising for the game, i think it would drag a lot of old players who left, back to the game. anyways, I've purchased several legendary mechs (including red reaper II) but i saw ZERO small shield and on the fence about it, i see it in game and it seems more like a cosmetic than a chasis quirk. Also I own gorewing (LOVE IT) which has the -50% fall damage. To me ZERO would be like a red reaper II and gorewing mini mix and i would absolutely have a blast playing it but... idk I'm thinking still.

Contrary to many, I actually like the Zero very much. The piloting is very smooth and pleasant, and in the right hands it can be effective. I also must confess I like gimmicky mechs.
BUT...
I don't think it's the best legendary mech to buy for a new player (that have a limited stable of mechs), there are so many other and better options to spend your hard earn money. Except if you particularly enjoy light mechs, since it's the only real legendary light.

So i tested the Zero in the test field........and in my opinion just like the Apache and Spectre the wings on the mech should be a VTOL with a toggle switch to lift or go forward (i know its a coding thing) light mechs are ment for speed for thier armor and you put wings on the zero and all if does is glide around making it easier to shoot at, but we gave it a shield, yeah you did but it doesn't protect you while you legs are dangling in the air (no legs = wreaked mech) is a poor designed mech that only a few ppl will play (and the number of people still playing MWO is already small). I had some hope for this mech, what could fix this mech is remove the wings and add 4 jump jet slots instead (let alone -fall dmg) which a light mech needs if your gliding off a mountain top so your legs dont buckle underneath you and WREAK YOUR MECH i for one will wait till it comes out for c-bills to pick it up and never use it, another mech with the possibility of greatness wasted and trash components you can't remove

If you were trying to make the Zero a sniper mech just give it steath armor and 500% hill clime and call it a day cause thats whats going to happen with this mech is take off the 4 H med lasers and add 2 H large lasers

I didn't seem to get an option for selecting a different warhorn. Got stuck with the Juggernaut. Still, it is a huge disappointment to get a non-Zero warhorn. If you were not ready to release the mech correctly, then you should not have released it at all. Also, this mech needs SOMETHING, its too hot to brawl, it has too little range to skirmish, quirks force Heavy lasers, so you are functionally limited on what you can do with this mech without completely ignoring the quirks. Long burn times (even with quirks) is too long to be able to shoot and twist to use the (improperly oriented) shield. Its a complete wash. I'm not a great pilot, but I can regularly get 1k matches in other mechs. In this one, I topped out at 450ish.

PGI, I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.
