i don't mind not being the center of attention, in fact i would prefer to not be. but seriously no one has even acknowledged my existence yet. how in the world do you not notice the 190.5 centimeter guy in a massive tan cloak standing behind you.

Well, the glib answer would be "because he's standing behind you, not front of you."

More seriously, though, I haven't actively not noticed dal10, I just haven't mentioned him in story, because so far I haven't had any particular story or character development I can work through with him yet. So far, I've had Sierra interact with:

Jean: the employer (establishes why she is here)
Spitfire: the other female merc in the room (establishes her stance on her own gender)
Keed: her ex (establishes their existing relationship)
Dirk, Remi and Nikoli: her unit (establishes their existing relationships)
The bar fight: an area event (because it is affecting her)

She hasn't interacted with dal10, Chris or Kazzen, because so far, they are just "other mercs" to her and haven't done anything to colour that. As we go, I expect that will change, and I'll post about how those interactions from and to her change her opinions of others. For now, I'm expecting her next interaction to be with Chris in response to him starting the bar fight.

If you are outgunned/outnumbered running away is what saves your life. :(

The heavier mechs are cool, but once engaged they can only fight it out, which tactically speaking only works when you have support or know that it can be requested.

While planning out the Quartet we (the Quartet) came to the agreement that we should be a fast, mobile, unit. We're great at hit-and-run attacks as well as snach and grab missions. Dirk/Rogue has the slowest mech of the bunch, but he's our support (and carries an artillary piece), so he doesn't have to be that fast. but he still jumps.

revin stabbed him in the leg. rubbed a lit cigar into it then punched him in the face.

Didn't he also knock all his teeth out with the base of the knive's butt? I'm remember reading that, but not sure if it was from this RP

That's it. I don't care who or how, but I'm killing at least one of Guardian's characters.
Just because you can't drink doesn't mean you have to ruin it for us alcoho those of us who can!

And just to clarify that OOC, we don't. Chris isn't part of the Quartet.

Rasen, if you hit 'follow topic' at the top right, it sends you an email anytime someone replies. So I leave my email open and watch for the number of unread messages to appear...

@Thom, Hey! I haven't killed him yet. But that's now three bars. Also known as, three strikes, Jack-knifed-you-in-your-sleep.

Rudbeck is a classically trained opera singer.

He was most famous for his widely lauded, "You are a pirate!" performance in the Tortuga Domains on March 8th, 3038

Something like that... I was thinking of Spongebob Squarepant's annoying *** laugh, played on a neverending loop.

I love Alestorm, saw them with the Agonist, Blackguard, and Kamelot last Sept.. AWESOME SHOW!!!

Dai10, I just like to hit the other guy back first.
I'm pretty sure it's a generic Scottish trait some days...
Bagpipes are awesome though - when played right. If it's a bad piper...yeah, murder.

@Rasen, Sierra isn't under the table, just Dirk. Knowing how notoriously unreliable he is, she simply stuffed him under it to keep him out of harms way - either dealing or receiving.
With Sparks permission, she still has nightmares about the blowtorch incident :)

No no, Rasen's right, she joined Dirk under the table with the salt and pepper shakers.

And yes. The blowtorch.

It's in my bio, about how he doesn't carry weapons per se
I'm thinking 'The blowtorch incident' could be Dirk's http://tvtropes.org/.../NoodleIncident
And didn't notice her join Dirk. Should I say hello or just keep scribbling maniacally...

Ah, there it is.
Aaaand the post is liked. That was pretty much exactly how I'd have played it.

@Vodka, I'm tempted to start referring to it as that now, just to see how long it takes people to figure it out. My personal favourite name for it that I've seen is 'The Trouser Titan'...

I kinda love the 'Hmmm, unexpected bar fight. Better go take a dump." mentality you got there :)
Any IC reason for always keeping the helmet on you don't mind us knowing OOC?

It's mostly just an identity thing. It keeps people from identifyin his face. Even his name is just a moniker. It is much easier to chang a name and but a new mask than to change your name and go through plastic surgeory to reconstruct your face...
