I have a GTX690 and only 1 GPU core is running, the other is always chillin out...
PLEASE PGI IMPLEMENT a WORKING SLI profile for MWO, WE DESERVE IT
and with cryengine it should be easy, shouldn't it ?

Though they'd stand to make money off of decals, I'm thinking they might lean toward multi-GPU support. Especially because performance has so far taken a hit when they've tested DX11, so they'll probably want to make the game as accessible to the most number of people as they can. Plus, people will buy decals whenever they release them, they're not exactly time sensitive.

Because it does not work correctly. Just because you've been using it doesn't mean its working how it should. I can use CF as well, but for doubling the power usage of my system for no gains is pointless.
When a CF mode that actually gets descent scaling you end up with a flickering mess. When CF is left on the default settings scaling is only about 10%, a least with 7970s.
Example:
Single 7970, 45-60FPS.
CF 7970, Default, 50-65fps
CF 7970, AFR, 90-120FPS, but has tons of flickering, with or without Vsync enabled or any host of other 'fixes' that have been posted.
Some of the other rendering modes actually hurt performance quite a bit.
Other Cryengine games run as the should, seeing nearly 100% scaling by adding a 2nd GPU.
These are the cases with every driver (official and beta) released this year.
DX11 Test server is a whole other bag of broken. You get the scaling you should by adding a 2nd GPU, no flickering, but there's some after image/fading artifact going on.

I play a Hawken at max settings with SLI and get damn near 150 fps
I play Mech warrior at max settings and cant even get 60. Somethings wrong when I can play Metro Last Light and get higher frames ON 3 MONITORS than I can get on one with MWO.
If I play MWO on 3 monitors at max settings, I can only get 30-35 fps. It's playable, but it's FAR from optimized.

I only get flickering on damage glow, but I don't like damage glow so its disabled anyway.
I'm using Triple Crossfired 7970 and getting good scaling for each card.
At 5760x1080 Max Settings
40-50FPS with a single card
75-85FPS with 2 cards
100-110FPS with 3 cards

r_MultiGPU = 1
0=disabled, 1=extra overhead to allow SLI(NVidia) or Crossfire(ATI),
2(default)=automatic detection (currently SLI only, means off for ATI)
should be activated before rendering

Well I tried this, so far no micro shutter with using the 5_ultra_high cfg file (found here) with r_multiGPU = 1 added in. I've been able to turn off v-sync and have an average of 90fps I'm running two HD7870 cards

We all know the dev team's marching orders are mechs and features they can sell you dangling in the cockpit as that is what makes money - not us tri-monitor widescreen SLI fire-breathing systems, the 1%.
It's why I don't play this game any longer. It stopped being fun when I hit 130 FPS in BF4 at 6000x1080x120Hz resolution w/DX11, but only 35 to 45 FPS in MWO with old DX10 graphics.

Indeed Who there @ PG* actually thinks that a few more micro transactions from the playerbase VS all the micro transactions from all of the people who have come and left right off the hop for BAD PROGRAMMING CODE..................and piss poor performance on the best of the best custom OC'd RIGS......4+cores 4.5+ghz isnt enough with 2400mhz ddr3???????
I want this game to be The greatest Video game ever........Honestly, I really really do, I wouldn't have stayed here for 2 years....... mind you, I have spent only 60$ after my original founders package purchase on random MC purchases............But I wont cut them any slack yet, In game VOIP, is a basic generally taken for granted because it is always there in a multiplayer game, <---------------Oh man this should steer serious investors right off the hop. not to mention the lack of pretty much the most widely wanted/craved/possessed/desired and best graphics technology to date..........SLI/XFIRE seriously fellas This SCREAMS FAILURE.......Now I am sad about this pile............going to have to fins something else for sat. nights now.

Yes, curse those asset artists for not going and coding in dual-GPU support. It's not like that would take an actual programmer, or anything.
