"If it took more than one shot, you weren't using a Jakobs!"

1. What programs are you using to re-color?
2. How do you do the shading (inside of legs, under the arms)?
3. Is there any program that can take a 2D image and make it so you can turn it or manipulate the direction it's facing?
(example: all of the images are basically doing a Rt. torso twist, how can you make them do a Lt. torso twist.)
Thank you for any input

1. Most of us use some version of photoshop or gimp.
2. A lot of the shading is taken care of in the templates and original art work.
3. Yes, but it's not going to work like you want it to. Basically, torso twisting or any kind of changes have to be done in the 2D: this means you would need to manually go in, and alter the image itself, rather than just having a program where you can click a button and suddenly the torso has twisted. I wish it worked that way.

Increasing the bank of potential targets for the Atlas Hunters. Inspired by the great miniature paint art of Psycho, behold a revised version of this 2nd Donegal Guard horror.
My rendition below. I tried to deviate a bit from the Iron Maiden look while still trying to retain the psycho-lich look. The veteran pilot of this 'Mech has had an inscription added, taken from a verse of the Book of Revelation: "Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him." EDIT: Added a few touch ups on image.
Happy Halloween everyone!!

When I started with this repaint thread I never expected it to become as popular as it has. In fact, I can still remember the fear and self-loathing I felt as I put the finishing touches on that very first (very hideous) Marik Militia Atlas that I cranked out so long ago. It was a fear of failure that almost aborted this endeavor before it had even stated.
Quite contrary to my fears, I was shocked with the overwhelmingly positive response (positive enough to lead me to do about 260 more "repaints"). Over time, and with huge thanks to the contributions of a number of brave and artistic minds this thread has taken on a life of its own. Yeah, I got the ball rolling: but the community has kept the momentum. It has become, to my knowledge, the most viewed thread on the forum, and has a number of artistic contributions probably numbering in the thousands and growing.
How things have grown from the little seed planted a year ago.
And I think this is a good time to make an announcement:
I will no longer be posting art here as my new boss Dennis de Koning has forbidden me from releasing any concept art to the public.
ED: got rid of a lot of extra commas

A girl at school asked me to color the Catapult I was working on purple, and give it a horse decal. She said she might try the game as well when she saw me work on this.
WHATDOYATHINK?
This was made because of laziness.
