EDIT: Kaemon was kind enough to put up a slideshow, so I'll be kind enough to stick it front-and-center for easy viewing!
EDIT: Heads up! More of my work on Pages 2, 3, 5, 6, 7,8 ,9, 11, 13, 16*, 18, 22, 24, 34, 37, 56, 62, 80, 89, 93, 102, 109, 121, 126, 138, 150, 155 and 160! Others have work throughout!
*All pages have 10 images aside from the current page I'm working on and 16, which was a celebratory post for my 100th edited image and only has that image.
EDIT:
We don't have good moderator support yet, sooo:
Some Basic Rules:
1. Only post modified concept art here.
2. When you start posting images to a thread, keep them contained in as few posts as possible. You can fit up to 10 images in a post. This will help keep things clean and make it easy to find specific users within the thread.
3. I obviously can't enforce these, but in the spirit of community I think it would be nice to have your cooperation. Thank you!
/EDIT
So this morning I concluded I needed a new project and so I decided to play with the concept art that's been posted so far. What I've done is replace the paint schemes with those of completely different units. I'm planning on doing a whole slew of these for fun, and thought you folks on the forum might be interested.
This first one is an Atlas from the 1st Marik Militia:
See if you can spot the Ayn Rand joke.
The second one is a Jenner from the 36th Lyran Guards:
The red writing on the left side reads "Wie ein Floh, aber Oh-**!"
Anyway, hope you folks like these. The real credit goes to the original artist, adobe's Photoshop program, and the myriad resources on the internet.
EDIT: Last one for today. It's a hunchback dolled up as part of MagGregor's Armored Scouts.
EDIT: This is the Ghost Regiment Atlas that was requested earlier. It's more generic than anything, but it's got some markings from the 6th Ghost. The Kanji on the left arm reads "Oak Tree". The markings above the eyes are a nod to the Atlas in the 2009 trailer.
EDIT: In response to another recent request for a more camouflaged 'Mech I've selected the now-defunct Chesterton Reserves as my next subject. Much like the MacGregor's Armored Scouts, this unit was destroyed/disbanded after the 4th Succession war, though elements continue to serve in Liao forces under different units.
EDIT: This next one is a generic Hunchback of the Atrean Dragoons, based off the paint scheme in the old Cammo Specs manual from '88.
EDIT: Here's the Northwind Highlanders (1st Kearny) Hunchback. PLAID.TAKES.SO.LONG. Hope you guys like.
EDIT: Ok, this next one I did without many references. This Gray Death Legion Atlas is based off a two-tone gray-on-gray cammo, and I decided to really try to bring out the Atlas' "death's head". on this. Thankfully, it does not seem that the Gray Death's Legion uses plaid on it's 'Mechs.
EDIT: Last one for tonight. Atlas from the 15th Arcturan Guard. I tried to have a little fun with this. I wouldn't normally do this unit, because of how plain most of their paint scheme is, but as it was requested I made an exception. The text on the lower torso reads "Lyrans & Tigers & Mechs, Oh my!"
EDIT: For today, we return to the Lyran Commonwealth. I present to you all a Jenner of the 10th Skye Rangers (Black Watch). The writing across the front (partially obstructed) reads "Snake Eater", a nod to what the Pilot intends to do with the Draconis Combine. (I actually whipped up this plaid myself today, it's based off the one found in the 1988 Camo Specs book).
EDIT: More of my work on Pages 2, 3, 5, 6, 7,8 ,9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 22, 24, 34, 37, 56, 62, 80, 89, 93, 102, 109, 121, 126, 138, 150, 155 and 160! Others have work throughout!

Yeah, Darkage sucks. But I still love the Savage Wolf. Calling it a Timber Wolf just feels wrong to me.

It is actually a Alt D Timberwolf just that the Other SRMs are rear facing. Technically it is still a Timberwolf Just an Alt D If we didn't call it a Savage Wolf

Well, I guess that settles it. It's a Timber Wolf Alt D without Omni capability.

The Mad Cat mk IV/Savage Wolf has been confiermed to be an Omni innumerable times, including by the game's writers and developers. Hell, it was described as an Omni in its debut. I have no idea why people still say it isn't.

As for the name, I thought I'd label it 'Mad Cat Mk IV' at first but this sounded too IS for actual clan repaints. So I then chose to go with the Timber because of the D variant though the actual art from FD represents the savage wolf (refer to Sarna and miniatures) with the rotating PPC elbow joints. I just felt that since the game occurs circa 2050-51, then this concept image from FD would most closely represent the Timber Wolf in its D variant. It ain't a perfect world, but we now have a workable template for a Timber alt and in a form that I think still respects FD's original art...
And the added bonus is: we once again have repaints being posted which offer a sneak peak for potential Clan canon designs in MW:O format!
This thread is alive... aliiiiive!

I see all these posts complaining about the Savage Wolf and every one I see, no matter what it says, shows up in my mind as: It's not ah Timbah Wolf, at ALL!

The Timber Wolf Alt.D does have rear facing SRMs. Just that the Savage Wolf can rear fire it's ER PPCs as well. Another thing is that the Timber Wolf doesn't look as, aggressive...

...SAVAGE.

I think the Savagewolf looks more clan-ish. But It reminds me of the MadCat mk2 more than the original Timberwolf.
Would be cool to have the omnis show even more what kind of weapon is equipped (like the arms here on that Savage with the PPCs) and maybe we can get the Timmy look like that with the Alt-D variant ingame?
