Waiting on full blown, clean concept art from the Phoenix now. Just one more sleep too for the Battlemaster reveal! I think we'll see alot of love for these mechs once we get some stable images... I know I already have a few ideas.

King of the Battlefield! Lord of all he surveys! Gotta love the Battlemaster.

Edited to add - Once we get nice high res images, I predict this forum will get about 50 pages of additional entries, let me tell ya! I know I'm going to be knocking out quick and dirty "roadmap" images like this one to prepare and plan for that glorious day!

Timberwolf in WSB scheme.

Lady Die might recognise a small part of this pic.. :)
I used the UAC (RAC?) from the 'Cada concept to represent the torso mounted MG array, 'Phract arms, flipped the direction of the legs, worked a bit on the cockpit & various body panels & set it in a more impressionistic version of River City - not much else to add.

I prefer the beefier arms provided by the Phract, rather than the guns on stalks look of most Timber images, that look like they'd snap off if you caught them on a tree.. :)

looks great, but still think it needs a little longer upper arms, these are TOO stubby, IMO. But otherwise, liking it.

Looks like they've finally put up the actual art for the Locust:

In the post, they say the others will be coming soon, but they have not been posted yet. Will they be coming on a daily basis like the mechs were first shown, or a more casual weekly basis? Either way, guess you can use this opportunity to get this one out of the way before the other three hit, eh?

this is just a curious question. How do color blind 'works'? say if you're a red colorblind, how did you see red and it's gradient?

I'm only partially color blind to red and green so my experience might be different from others. I can see red and green fine most of the time, but there are certain shades that will appear as neutral colors. Dark greens might show up as black, reds as various browns and lighter colors as different grays. There can also be issues when green and red are next to each other or layered on top of each other, for example a map that's mostly green with red dots or arrows to denote enemies, the red dots or arrows become much harder distinguish from the green areas and can sometimes "blend" in.

If you want a lot more information about color blindness and the different types you can read more about it here:http://en.wikipedia....Color_blindness

There are a number of different kinds and strengths of colorblindness. For me, my eyes shift some of the greens toward the red end of the spectrum, making olivey greens look more brown than they are, for example.

For those who haven't seen it, Carrioncrows has written up some fluff to go with the Locust's concept art. You can find it here:
