schweet!!!

Also, interesting take on the lightbar! Had been trying to fit the traditional one on the new dome, and it always ended up looking like one of those doofus hats with the propeller on top! (Alexs art is much less beachball shaped, more barney/pear shaped), never thought to do that. Effective!!!

Here is a very quick and dirty recoloring into a "1st Buena Jaegers" Atlas. Lets hope PGI will give us somedays this paint job/pattern for real:

Yeah, I'd love to see a camo like this, or even just a "Pied-Piper" type of thing. Right now the closest thing we have is the Raider camo, which is OK on some 'mechs, but not the same.

For those British players who remember the awful quiz show 3-2-1 i'd like to see a Dusty Bin Urby, like my miniature? Posted Image

As the kit bashing goes, I wanted to make something true to your vision, but was limited in the resources available (I.E. I needed to use stuff from Alex's body of concept art so it would "fit"). This was especially true of the disco lights. For those I ended up pulling them off the cockpit of the flea concept because I have a hunch (based on Russ' comments on NGNG) that the little 'mech is unlikely to see the light of day, so it seemed like a good choice. It's not perfect, but eventually I said "Good enough."

Anyway, I'll make a few more of these at some point. Planning on at least doing a Steiner (Probably Lyran Regulars) and a Marik (Probably Sirian) unit. And then hopefully a couple more from the "various and sundry" category. Oh, and probably some kinda Rasalhague something or other....

Does anyone have the full size concept art for the Nova? I haven't been able to find it online anywhere.

They didn't release the hi-quality concept art for Nova, Kit Fox, Puma, Dire Wolf and King Crab yet. :(

LOL! I love it.

If it gives no trouble to you, you could make a series of WWII-themed 'Mechs repaints :)

I would like to see a Wermacht-specific Centurion repaint, for example.

I'll see what I can do. The historical Wehrmacht Skins are a personal favourite of mine and i find them absolutely beautiful, but they tend to be a "sensitive" thing to post in international forums.

Here is a flecktarn Atlas in the meantime.

I know these are completely incorrect, like the Luftwaffe Centurion having a numberplate and this Atlas having a Flecktarn Infantry Camo but they look cool.

That is why i asked first if you had any issue with it. I do not see why it could not be done for historical purposes :)

Btw, that Atlas is nice, but for some reason i am not a fan of actual camouflages on Battlemechs :P

Really? That is one of the only things that make the mechs feel like mechs for me. Below are some of my favs, the yellow one actually works really well on the CW map.

Even if the way MWO renders the mechs makes camo pretty useless since you will always see the contours, it could still confuse your enemy for a second and that might already count.

Hey IQ, actually you used the "Flecktarn B" for the Atlas. This is an uniform camouflage. Instead you should use the 3 color Flecktarn that is used for all BW Vehicles and Tanks.
(f.e. http://www.panzerbae...leopard_2a5.htm )

Or better the "Sonderanstrich Flecktarn Winter" http://www.panzerbae...o_winter-3b.jpg .. its my favorite ( http://youtu.be/ZmiFLf1OcfU?t=21s )

I was originally going for the Leopard Camo, but I couldnt find a proper texture and I was too lazy to draw one
