Since I've let the dream of getting any sleep softly die, I decided to do an LCAF 'mech next. Don't think of this as fulfilling a request... 'cause I'm not... so don't get any ideas... also, not doing more of these Somerset Strikers, some other poor guy can pick up on 'em.

Finished the Mauler recolor. Still cant get the background to be transparent Though.

EDIT: I was going to remove the background for you but discovered your image is smaller than my template. You did use my template, right? Why did you reduced the image size? (the bigger the better)

EDIT 2: enlarged (but lost some of the quality)

Hmm no idea i think Sai reduced it possibly cause all i did was download it from you and went to work or something along those lines. Also thanks for making it transparent!

This is in honor of all the people that have called me a white knight. I figured I would make it official...



(oh, and thanks especially to Odanan. I am not sure what you did to color those internal areas like that, but I could not replicate it well enough, so had to use yours -.- )

This is the first repaint i've done, so it's probably not up to snuff compared to the ones others do, but what the heck!
It's a Quickdraw in the paint scheme of the 3rd Drakons of the Free Rasalhague Republic.
(I really wish this was the Faction camo FRR got, because I think it looks better than the 1st Tyr camo (which is the one i believe we got, could be wrong though)

I love the repaint, but is there any way you can soften/bland the Clan/Unit logos? The way they pop/pixelate takes away from the rest of your excellent repaint.

I would love to, but have never been able to get them to look right. What settings do you guys do to make them blend in better?

Update: Ok, so I added some lighting, a shadow, etc, and I think it looks better. I also redid the logo. Not sure why, but it seems to pixelate a lot more when I embed the whole FW.PNG vector file, instead of just the transparent PNG. Seems like it would be the other way around...

Any other suggestions from you pros?

white is a wicked beast to get to come out decent. Really the only thing that I would niggle is the CGB crest on the shoulder because of the contours, but that is a tough shield to wrap.
