Now pardon me whilst I go put on my fireproof suit......
Um, I think it is Shimmering Sword's Marauder. CGL just commisioned him to redo all of the classic unseen mechs because they got tired of HG BS regarding their old art, the new Warhammer has been all over the Internet for a few weeks now.

But we already have the Shadow Cat!
... the Mad Cat was in part based on the Murader (the Mad in Mad Cat) and yes, the base model has a AC/5 like the Shadow Hawk. if it looked like a AC/20, I would throw a copy of TRO: 3025 at someone

I on the other hand loved SS's take on the Marauder, yet I still have a bit of a hard time with THIS new one. It is the cockpit, the hardest part of the mech to "get right".

Could be more "pointy' in front.

Looks tasty!
You've got a template for that already?
I would prefere to have stronger arms and slimmer Torso, more the style of the recent cover with the unseen for one of the catalyst books ("mercanaries" is it? ).

With how the mechlab changes appearance of weapons depending on what you've got installed...not really hopeful on this.
That said, looks amazing what Flying Debris and Shimmering Sword can do with the unseen. Can't wait to see the rest done up in concept art so we can finally move past all that old mess.

Imma join you in the flames, because I always hated Shimmering Sword's take on the Marauder. It changed a sleek, alien, gangly 'Mech into something more like the dog from Up. I don't care too much for MWO's redesign either as a result, but noticing that it does actually have a "chin" under the cockpit has softened me a bit from my first impression. It initially looked like the cockpit had nothing under it, as in Shimmering Sword's version. But it does. That makes the torso seem less horizontal, which helps a bit.

Your color saturation seems to be too high and it looks like you are painting "over" the art. There isn't any of the normal shading that most have, should be an easy fix after you watch a few videos.
Good for your first shot, don't stop.
One of the biggest artist growths I've ever seen is on this forum (GunnaDie's "Noob here" thread).
Never give up! You CAN do it! *Row Row Fight da Powa!*

There is no better place for posting this!
This is very good, specially because it is the first. As Nautilus said, the colors are too saturated, but it should be easy to fix: Take this whole image and add it as a layer to the cleaned mech in the template. Now experiment with the layer effects like, for instance, Soft Light. It should come out more "natural".
