Man I missed the old MPBT 3025 games. We used to fire that up at lunch time back in the day. Hope MWO fills the role of all 3 of those classic titles.

Not sure anyone recalls that name, but that's what happens when you run as a freelancer.

Still, I remember a lot of these names-- it's going to be good to get back into things. Maybe this time I'll even settle down and look for a Unit to join.

Wow.. As so many have said already.. a lot of memories... I played Solaris for a while, as a Freelancer, and totally loved that game. I doubt very much that anyone would remember me (heck, I don't even remember what my handle was back then) because I didn't get into anything beyond just playing the game.

From all the stories it looks like I missed out on so much community and friendship that I am wish I had spent more time chatting, and less time dropping (though, I love mech's so much that for me at the time I was young and silly back then, it was all about the "woohoo, I am in a mech!!!!").

Anyway, It looks like there are several good communities reuniting. Maybe I will find one here to enjoy all the aspects of the game this time.

wow! just read the entire thread, remembered so many names and wanted to say hi so just hit the like button. too many folks to remember the names and acknowledge here. so just gonna say wow! a huge part of the old community coming out of the woodwork.

pong here. god i loved that game. had every single light and medium, and half a dozen heavies, and was about to buy my first assault when they killed it. so many memories, getting accused of cheating by kurita gm's cuz 4 jvn's headhunted his atlas in one pass, watching the twin towers fall, etc.

edit: btw C4 > C1. lrm 20's all the way! oh and the k2. MACHINEGUN MACHINEGUN MACHINEGUN LAG LAG LAG.

Also, nice to see the KDR guys around. anyone seen synti, or chiz? and yeah, salad? man i remember salad was the one who taught me about shielding with the hbk's hump. oh and HHoD, nice to see you guys again. so many memories, wow.

Looking for a home...and I dont see any old ties in my former House. I cut my teeth in MPBT, then MPBT: Solaris and then in the 3025 Beta....curse EA!

For MPBT and MPBT Solaris I was in a Marik stable - Black Company under the handle of SpitNyerEye. Medium Mechs were my specialty; usually an Assassin. I ranked up to Regimental CO within the house and fairly high in the medium class rankings. The Gamestorm went away....played some MW I, II, III, and IV as well as almost all of the 3025 beta sorta free lancing it.

Prefer to spend time with folks who have been there and done that within MW-online community. I can help lead or I can simply follow orders - Happy to do either as long as I'm piloting a Mech.

I played the original game, then the dialup version on GEnie. There I joined Davion, rose through the ranks and did some time as House Leader. Plus the Knights and Gunslingers! I am still burnt out from guild leadership to this day! I beta tested Solaris and met many of the employees and players at Gencon. So good to see some of you again!!!
