Can you please try and get some indication on the direction the devs are planning to go on some of the issues we keep hearing about over and over and over in the forums? I'm not looking for binding promises, just indications.

Questions like [REDACTED].

Actually, it's hard to think of decent questions that don't violate the NDA.

Could we please get a "ask the devs, beta version"?

1. How is the weather over there.

2. How much mechs will be in when the open beta starts?

3. Why does Russ always have dark circles under the eyes, he should sleep more! (or maybe not)

How robust are the community chat interface/functions planned to be? Will we be able to create private channels? ex. /general /mercunit /random private channel

Could you go into more detail on how community warfare is going to work from the perspective of house faction players? For example:
1) WIll there be senior command positions (Prefecture/Military District/House XO/House Leader) in charge of promoting an overall strategy and chain of command?
2) If so, can you give examples as to the kind of things they will be able to do, what orders they can issue?
3) Can you elaborate on the kind of in-game communication systems we'll have for synchronous and asynchronous (message type/bulletin board) as pertaining to community warfare system.
4) Will there be a supply line system determining where attacks on planets can be carried out?
5) Will mechs have a "location" thus requiring them to be shipped from place to place as operations are carried out ?

Will Cicada be able to turn it's torso? Design-wise, it doesn't have the feature and it was also implemented in MW2: Mercs.

If you look at the redesign of the Cicada it looks like it should be able to torso twist:

I would love to know the answers to these as well, but I think they are going to be waiting a while - it is not going to be implemented at open beta, but will follow a month or three afterward.

Question 1: Are there any plans to include playable Periphery factions by release, and how will these factions differ from the Inner Sphere factions?

Question 2: I have heard that the price of various Mech's, weapons, component parts, and ammunition will vary depending on which faction you choose. How large of a difference in price are we talking about here, and how do these price differences effect Mercenary or Independent players? How would these prices effect Periphery faction players, should Periphery factions become available?

Question 1: Will there be any sort of in game market? Other than the price of 'Mechs being dependent of which house you are more loyal to, I haven't heard much about things like a black market or the ability to trade with others.

Question 2: Will 'Mechs of different sizes but identical top speeds handle the same, or will they have different rates of acceleration and turning?

Will this game be balanced in terms of competitive play or public play? As in all games, certain strategies tend to be more popular depending on what type of play it is and their strengths. Whether or not your main vision in mind is to balance on what's practical(Low skill) or whats capable(High skill) - in terms of balance.

I asked previously on 11 and 12, please pick mine!

Me and a few people in the group I play with were curious if there will be any plans down the road, after the game launches, to offer a name change service through fees or some other method.

Is Community Warfare still considered a core design pillar? Is it currently somewhere in testing? Or is it now considered a feature for the next 6 months/ 1 year after Open Beta?

alrighty Garth, I will ask this again, as it is important, financially important for players. With the confirmation by Russ that Clan Factions will be playable, how is the transition to them going to be handled? Will we need new accounts? Will we be able to transition from faction to faction, taking our Founder mech with us? How will this be handled for those who want to play as a specific Clan, like for me, Clan Wolf for example. Will I be stuck flying the flag I do here in the forums, or can I change to the Clans and bring my founder perks with me?

hi my question is in the actual game will their be destructible scenery such as when you walk on trees or shoot trees they fall or catch on fire , or when you walk on a small building or shoot it will it collapse or get a hole blown in it?
