Ton for ton a Piranha is the beastest of all beastmechs.

Ludicrously fast and packing a 43 point alpha strike at 20 tons is hard to beat. Against infantry it's even worse.

There's also the Hunchback IIC. 50 tons for a 94 damage alpha.

Now, neither are the most survivable 'Mechs, but the poster asked for POWER. No other 'Mechs in the game will do as much front end damage per ton as these babies.

Nice lineup, but it looks like you forget that many of these are Omni Mechs. (Or what Omni Mechs can do.)

Oh, I know they are, and what they can do. You'll note I qualified the list as canon variants. I should have said "Variants/Configurations". For example, the Widowmaker Dire Wolf is up there, but not some of the builds that others had put up. For omnimechs just measure up pod space vs total tonnage and drop nothing but Heavy Medium Lasers into the slots and you'll get a massive Alpha to Weight ratio (see Fire Moth H).

This was meant to list only the canon variants and configurations that had been previously listed in the thread.
