Just reread it and realized that I forgot all about the lack of gravity. So I'm supposing to mention something about the jumpships station thrusters providing just enough gravity to do the cardgame and fire up the still while it's reeling in (or out) it's solar sail...

Hey some jumpships have zero-g pools so sure they at least have a mess area and workout ring. And footsloggers without Cards is like wine without the women, you just don't do it.

Attention All RPer's involved in this project.

Pending one last PM from Col. Nighthawk - I'm going to write one or two more posts then jump the fleet in. I might be able to whip up one or two goodies for all of you before that - but just keep an eye out. Things are going to get moving fairly fast since it looks like most people are getting back in soon enough. I'll give VodkaAviator and Graf a little time to get caught up if they can before launching.

RogueSpear - is Red Duck still interested. I've got a ship slated for him but haven't seen anything else from him. It's cool, I'm just trying to get an idea of who to wait for.

The Marines are getting ansi, we don't like this waiting thing that you guys are doing. Sims aren't real enough, and we are hard chargers. Anyhow, will wait for further orders from the brass.

Just to be clear, your Marines on the Basel are in for a long cold walk if they are coming to the senior officers meeting in the Commodore's state room on the Voidwalker, an entirely different warship. Not that I'd put it past them.

Your marines are in for a bad case of dead if they try to enter my SO's AO...

I thought it was announced on the Basel? If it is actually on the Void Walker, then John will just simply find out that it is, and then have the squads do drills. Easy enough to fix.

Only in death does duty end, if that is what the mission requires, then we will go, come ****, or your cannon. Semper Fidelis, Always Faithful.

LN, any chance you would take one more to get in on this? Normally I find RPers a lil on the serious side, but you guys seem fun!
I have an OBSCENE amount of free time on my hands, if you let me snag that other Avatar I could have bios up and rolling by... oh, lets see now, hold on... Carry the two... It's not a leap year... 10 mins? Give or take?
Either way, if its too late to get in on the action personally, I plan on following you guys anyway. Keep up the good work!

Yeah those serious guys are scary... from experience I find that the best role players are the guys that have a sence of humor. But a good imagination doesn't hurt either...

Oh yeah, and welcome to the forums and it's always good to see another Liaofan.

Lol thank ya very kindly, Thom! Yes, yes, you guys popped my forum cherry. Be proud. :) I've just noticed that some people find it difficult to go with the flow of a particular scenario.
Everyone wants to be the hero and have the underdog, come from behind victory, you know? But sometimes the GM has other plans for a character... Someone has to die first, after all.
And speaking of that, maybe I should ask for one of those Barons instead... Piloting that Avatar would be a lot of pressure!

Pweeeease?!
I'll even go on the Bulls side to help balance things out.
And I promise, I'm quiet, I don't bark at random noises, I'm great with kids, I am a huge cuddler, and I don't pull on the leash when you take me for walkies.
You could say that I'm...
*Puts on sunglasses*
House-trained.
