How often can we expect new chassis and maps to be released, during open beta and "going live"?

Will there be a function allowing me to see, once in a group, which map I'm being dropped on, and against what type and how many chassis?

Are there any plans to eventually include some of the tech from the Maximum Tech sourcebook? MRMs, Light Gauss, Composite Endoskeleton, etc?

We know from Ask the Devs 10 that there are plans to eventually add the ability to fire both standard and cluster ammo from the LB 10-X AC.

Are there plans to (eventually) allow the Ultra AC-5 to change fire-rates between the "standard" (1x) ROF and the "Ultra-mode" (2x) ROF via a player toggle?

Question 1:

How will the payment system most likely look like? Considering one of the most succesful ones, League of Legends, where all playable Characters ("Mechs") and Runes ("Mech Weapons") can be earned and bought by ingame currency within days of play, while real currency can buy you Skins and Champions instantly - will the proportions in time and the use of ingame currency be like that or will you make Mechs or even weapons only affordable by real money?

I don't ask this because I am a cheap *******, I am considering to buy a legendary FP this afternoon, but most of my friends will never pay much or anything at all which also leads to the second point, the amount of players this game will attract - League of Legends' system attracts a lot of people, because it's mostly free while fully playable (not needing to pay anything ever without content loss) and I'd like to see that for MWO, too. <3 Lots and lots of ppl to play with + community.

Yeah, but that makes Founders atlas, which has one 10 missle pod, less effective when firing without lock, compared to standart with two.

Is there going to be any sort of API access for post game battle statistics?

Several mmo titles have opened up some of the backend data which was free to use on other websites.

Is this a planned feature? If so, when is it likely to be available so developers like myself can begin coding around it?

Like Passive which is the current one, and active which acts abit like Mechwarrior 3's?

I dont know if this has been asked Garth, I know its been suggested will their be Multiple Monitor support for those of us who have more than one monitor by increasing and enhancing the depth of the game. For example if the gamer has three monitor display that can view out of the Left - Center - Right of the cockpit.

Can you elaborate/explain further on the how the whole faction, lone wolf, and merc thing works? I understand there will be some bonuses for belonging to a house faction, but what about being lone wolf/mercenaries? Also, will we be able to switch factions after the game goes live, or when clans eventually show their faces?

I'd like to hold out for ghost bear or nova cat clan, but if I can play FRR until then, I'd be stoked.

Will a premium account be needed to form a merc corps or lance?

I'd love to get into MWO (been playing Battletech for way too long), but I know that I'll only ever be a casual gamer, and I'm not interested in paying for a timed premium account for the ability to get together with a couple friends for a couple battles.

in all seriousness, have you put the creation of new mechs on hold?
it you have, could you please tell us so we can stop waiting for (and harassing you about) battlemech 16.

we got a mech every other week, like clockwork, for a long time, so suddenly not getting any without any explanation of it is very disappointing.

When are paint schemes and unit/House insignias slated to come down the pipe? Can we get a tool to import our own? There's a lot of great artists in the community and it'd certainly save you guys from having to do custom unit icons and such. On second thought keep the paint schemes for yourselves to sell, but let us design unit icons. ;)

Id just like to have the ability to have a second monitor so I can keep my tactical map up at all times lol

Once the full metagame goes live how are unique planet maps going to be handeled? I mean, I believe there is like 113 or 114 planets alone in House Liao. Will planets like Capital planets have very unique maps and not just use the same maps as any other planet?

Could we have a brief update on the status of Community Warfare? I know that my unit and others are really looking forward to this, and we'd just like a little **** that it is still progressing...

I have a big one, that I think a lot of people are interested in.

Can you give us any information on how Mercenary groups are going to work? Things we're primary interested in knowing if even one of them is up for being divulged:
  • How many people can be in a merc unit? Will size be impacted by MC?
  • Will unit resources impact players? Can we give them payrolls or 'mechs?
  • What are the requirements for founding a mercenary unit? Do players need X experience, are Y players needed?
  • How will contracts work?
  • Will the game try to match against other mercenary units (organized) or are we likely to fight house (PUG) units often?
  • How many MC will it cost to form a unit and is there a cost to join one?
  • Will a Merc companies success rate play into it? Will they get an MRBC rating?
  • Can the unit set a paint job, so individual players can utilize it without remaking it themselves?
  • Will we be getting a "Clan tag" for unit affiliation in-game at some point?
  • In one Dev Q&A it was mentioned merc groups could rename their ranks in-game. Is this still happening? We have a unique ranking structure and are curious!
I'm sure there's plenty more to ask but these are the big ones off the top of my head. I'm really looking forward to learning anything new about these mechanics and I don't think I'm alone. Any bones you might throw our way would be awesome.

I would be curious to know the degree at which the world is persistent, it would be good if for example those who lay claim to periphery territories would be able to place down defenses (turrets, radar, etc) to fortify they're territories making them harder to be commandeered from other invaders.
