Considering the date in game is currently 3049 and the Uziel is not produced til the very earliest 3057 (not sure the exact time), I doubt it will be included anytime soon no matter how much we petition for it to happen.

Not that you get a choice, my friend! I'd love to see a LOT of mechs in the game whose time hasn't come........

I'd love for it to be included, but not until its time comes, otherwise if they inculde this mech in 3049, people will want their favourite mechs from the future to be included aswell.

I think the safe bet is, that because it is an iconic, and much loved mech, it WILL be include, but only when it makes sense for it to start appearing on the battlefields.

I quickly voted yes because I always loved the Uziel, Then scrolled down and reality struck me with the hammer of Thor after I realized that we are still in 3049 and we still have 8 more years to wait.

So, thank you OP for raising my hopes up to the sky and then send it crashing down onto the solid, hard ground.

I love the Uziel, but sadly it doesn't show up for a while so I'd have to say no for that reason. But when the game gets to that point, you can bet I will be demanding that they put it in. I wonder what the makeover PGI will do to it?

The Uziel wasn't introduced until '63 during the FedCom civil war.

*Also, I see production year listed as 3065, what source are people using that says 3056-57?

Why not just petition for the BJ-2 Blackjack: 45 tons 2 ER Large Lasers, 4 Streak SRM2s, and jump jets. Seems like a good substitute given the era.
