Urban Mechs just have that "underdog" look to them... like you really want them to win! :)

No, he's a Dalek with legs, anyways we all love the urbie because it's sort of a mascot for all we love in the world.

The R2D2 rationalization I think is irrelevant. Yeah, I mean you can draw some resemblance to R2D2, but Like fallguy said and [many, many] others, its just the underdog of the 'mech world. Packs an enormous punch for its size, while it also having laughably slow speed.

Think of it as the " Little 'Mech That Could"... -err "Trashcan, that could".

Just accept that its awesome.

1 - Some of us don't like to cheese out and throw the PEHPEHCEH or spam medium lasers on everything.
2 - It's very cheap, effective, pocket firepower.
3 - Comedic value.

The first rule of UrbanMechs is to walk proud (slowly).

Panthers needed to be able to outrun another light. The Urbanmech was born.

To not understand the Urbanmech, is to fail to understand the motivations of humanity at it's core.

If you want to pilot a walking trashcan, do it in 100 ton style.

Mackie, all the way.
