Why would I care, though its nice to have fans even after all these years(especially since you don't know me Warrior). The "new breed" of SiN really turned our winning record into crap, I feel for you Scythe/Darkness. Its pretty clear the "old guard" had a majority of the wins and the "new breed" had the majority of loses. Which I wonder why because every year the competition got worse at MWL as the good teams and players quit. Then again I can see why you guys went to NHUA 2v2 and 3v3 primarily in the end.

Please do not feel sorry for me, I had no regrets from any of our time old and new core of players back in the day. I think we did just fine during all of our time at MWL. We had wins we should have lost and losses we should have won in all phases of our years playing. We had the most ladder league wins and drops in MWL (went back and forth with BDE) for a very long time until we dwindled out. It takes a good group to do that, We held that stat with our old players and new til almost the end. We were always in the top tier of the ladders we were in and we were always playing the elite teams which is why we had allot of losses (though very epic battles) as well. We never considered ourselves to be an elite team,as far as comparing to some that were in the league, but we were unique, tenacious and never gave anyone an easy or guaranteed win either. We played a wide array of ladders and styles, We also fielded players regardless of skill level, we did not drop just our best players every drop. If we had the players we fielded all of them and rotated out each drop for those who did not play. There was no certain skill level required to join us, we played for fun first and winning second, though we did our fair part in that as well.

At the end we did hang on to just 3v3 and 2v2 (and tore it up I might add) when there was only 4 or 5 active members left. But that was the only reason for that, we just simply did not have the pilots to make drops on the larger ladders. And I do not think the level of competition dropped too much before we left. Most of the really good teams were still around and as good as ever, which is who we almost always played.

But this new game is totally different in allot of aspects, So for those that care about these things, who knows who will be the better pilots this go round,

lol.. after everything over all those years in mercs you remember that awesome little 8bit track we had. Armor Core came about during the time at SiN when my wing mutinied and formed Armor Core, latter we renamed it Mercenary Armor Core. I can still remember the first server raid against a heap of SiN players with our new tags on to announce the mutiny and Rippers reaction hehe. Good Times.
