That game was awesome. I still remember the light vs light matches. There's nothing like the satisfaction of watch a locust eat PPC face-first...

MPBT: 3025 was the best online game ive ever played. The level of detail to the mech's was amazing, even playing 4v4, if you had good strategy, you could accomplish anything.

Plus I loved the idea of taking over planets and expanding your territory.

I still hate EA over that.

Ahhh got to be back in good company.... I still remember SPECIFIC battles from that game...
I remember i was in my HBK-4p and I was the only one left with moderate damage and the enemy had 2 mechs left. Got a cockpit kill on the half damaged one then I ran and hid behind a grain tower or building from the 2nd one. His mistake was getting close to a 4p, full alpha in the cockpit and I shutdown but he has red cockpit status, he tries to run away, Powerup, full alpha again.... dead I win...

Also remember an awesome 4 on 4 BJ battle, man i loved the sound of those AC's... Thud Thud Thud.. awesome sound..
Nobody would happen to have any video's?

wow so many old faces, most of those i had heard of only by word of mouth, but still, good to see em still about.

I just hope we can keep the element of honour that existed in 3025.

If only 1-2 people dropped on one of the teams, and the other had 4 players, then 2 would sit back until someone died or the 2 from their team had triumphed.

Nowadays its just all "KILL KILLL KILLLLL WINNN WINNNNN WINNNN!!!!!"

Those were the days.

Wonder what Rocket, my old trainer is doing nowadays.......

Yes. I was just starting to get the good stuff from MPBT when they suddenly cancelled it. Needed more maps and 'mechs, but was doing some new things. 'Mechs moved slower, but had the armoring to make it work.

I agree, MechWarrior was the only game I ever played where players had a code of honor. Legging was ok of course! I always chided the leggers that, "the legs don't shoot back".

MPBT3025 had a coolness factor. Enjoyed it but hope that MWO brings more to the table in terms of simulation. And maybe eliminate any eject button/keybinds period. Too many gutless warriors ejecting in MPBT3025 rather than taking a loss.

Obviously everyone remembers the Samurai.

I'm noted for possibly being the only guy to join more stables than Baron Night in MPBT Solaris. :)

Davion: The Wild Bunch, DRAAGUN, Mech Gods, Reg Army
Kurita: DMD, PMD, Tooth of Ymir, Wolf's Dragoons, 9th Sword
Liao: RedLancers, OIs, CHs
Marik: 12thAD, General of RMD (someone actually made me a General of a Military District... LOL)
Steiner: T::BoRg

I'm probably forgetting a bunch but those are the major ones.

P.S. - Some douchebag stole my handle too, Snipe. I bet it was Legion. LOL.

P.P.S. - OMFG I MISSED YOU GUYS! Anyone down for an all-night TL BoU in Guz 2? CHs vs. DRAAGUN. I'll play for whichever team can still stand me. LOL.

Nothing Legendary about this Samurai.. lol

But seriously, BoUncle was so much fun and hands down the best memories I have in online gaming were those years on GameStorm - but the only thing that was better... 21-0!!!!(Sorry, I had to) We need to get a list of folks we need to get in touch with from the old days.. I've pinged quite a few folks today but I know I have bad contact info on some and am forgetting some others.

House Steiner!

I loved running with my Panther against higher tonned foes. The dynamics of MPBT were great. People tonning up on medium and heavy worlds. Dropping on empty worlds to claim them for your clan. Running defensive missions, where you stay away from the enemy to force a win LOL...

I remember so many good times in this game, it was one of the best games of all time.

I am so excited about this, if they are able to make it like MPBT, this will be a great game indeed!

Played a lot during the Solaris Beta, AOL, Gamestorm era. Only dabbled a bit in 3025 beta early on. Led a Merc Unit on Solaris called the Wolverine Corps with a bunch of great guys and was one of the funnest times in an online game for me. Looking forward to seeing what this game brings. Hopefully it will be entertaining.

Oh man!

Ran on Solaris through AOL and Gamestorm. Call sign Happy, in Shadow Warriors on AOL and then DRAAGUN on Gamestorm. Solaris kind of ruined me for MMO's since then, nothing else was nearly as cool.
