My point is to not look a gift horse in mouth. Sorry if that came off wrong, I just wish people could be happy with the fact that we are getting a new mech warrior and not keep picking at things. I'm really excited for this to be happening and I find it weird how much some of the community complains. But you are right Dihm, it is pretty subjective. I just don't want people poking holes in something I've been waiting for for years, lol.

Still waiting for some kinda discussion of how a SCOUT takes a corner but does not know the enemy mech is there.
Any theories?

Its own sensors are shut down, so as to reduce its signature? The pilot is more concerned with escaping the immediate threat?
That said...while not a huge fan of the Commando (i prefer the Javelin for it's jump capability). FD did an awesome job with it., XD

Eh, I don't know about that. Story says the pilot was able to relay data to the commander so that an artillery strike was on the way to the passing mechs. So sensors are obviously on.
Best guess I have at the moment is a bad scout. She Alpha-Striked the hunchback, and then boogied out of there into the path of a Fifth enemy mech/second Lance. Maybe the writer wanted us to take away the lesson of not losing situational awareness.

It sounds a little tricky, but within the hints and how things will work that I have read here on the forums.
Thank you for the clarification.
Any chance of telling us if the pilot survived her encounter? You know, she was surprised, but quickly juked her way out of the path of the Centurion's weapon, while increasing her speed to blow past the enemy mech on her way back to safety, frantically calling for assistance.
(I'll never be a writer,lol)
