As if on cue he saw Lina's Dervish take off with its jump jets and heard explosions a few streets down. Nathan sighed "this is gonna be a long day, Stoner 2 Jumpjet onto that building and tell me what you see, The report quickly cameback "Its a warzone down there Bombadier, Thug, JagerMech, Vulkan confirmed enemy also unknown mechs engaging, presumed allies Dervish, Jenner, Centurion and a Grand Dragon with a Fracking axe, Glad he seems to be on our side. Also that aerospace fighter seems to have squadrened with that Drac LAM"
"WHAT!!!" Nathan wasnt sure what to think, all he knew was that this was gunna be fun.

[[Agreed with Orc about the Thug/Azman and Bombardier/Jagermech placement. Azman should be the trailling mech in the lineup since he's limping, hence why he wasn't sent for a fast flanking manuevre.]]

Colored arrows indicate JJ movement, while dashed lines indicate on foot travel.
Current locations of all mechs are at the end of their movement indicators. THe Flashman and the Grand Dragon just met in the intersection, James rounded the corner and is coming up behind them, Damon has moved to a smaller building below. Lina is marked in her correct position already.

Graaf took a moment of reflection. If there was one thing that could have made him regret the path he had prepared for from birth, it was being separated from Amalja. They had already spent years apart while he was at Northwind, but she had honed her skills as a technitian in the hope that they could be assigned to the same KungsArme unit in time. Even through the fire and chaos of the day, the idea that she - with all her strength and wit - had not survived had never crossed his mind.
He shook his head clear - there would be time to grieve later. For now his priority had to be defending this city against further violence.

"Wilco. Asaheill!"
With a grim face, Grafvitnir pushed the Dragon into a sprint, moving around behind the depot to attack the opposite flank from Lina. As he passed the depot's fence his short-range sensors started to flicker to life.
There must be a friendly scout 'Mech out there watching out for us. He whispered a quiet thanks.
The square down the street had clearly been decimated, many of the surrounding buildings reduced to crumbling skeletons, watching over the firefight between them. The sensors then indicated another target. Graaf turned to look, and caught glimpse of a Jagermech advancing down a side street. Whatever friendly forces were in the area, it would do no good to allow them to be flanked by an AC sniper.
Pulling the throttle back to a quick walk, Graaf moved the Dragon up towards the mouth of the street where there was cover from the Thug's PPCs. The thin whine of an LRM lock filled the cockpit as his crosshairs trained on the Jagermech. Graaf's thumb flipped the safety cover up and depressed the button, sending ten long-range missiles arcing over the buildings, diving down to tear into the unprepared 'Mech.
Careful to maintain crosshair position through the haze of propellant smoke clouding his vision, Graaf squeezed the main trigger, and the steady thud thud thud of HEDP rounds flying downrange shook the cockpit.
[[I'm certainly willing to take over the Dalian 'Mechs, but as I've been out of the loop for a few days it's probably best if we continue the next round of posts or so the way it is; I'll get an up-to-date sense of where the battle is going and then take over the Dalians when a good opportunity presents itself.]]

Durgan thought to himself Got nothing to loss.
Durgan walked out revealing himself “Hey you what are you doing here”
Durgan took an aggressive stance ready for anything waiting for a reply from the man.
The question was immediately answered with the crack sound of a combat shotgun being racked and the big man whirling around with lightning like speed and took cover behind a wheeld toolbox.
"The question, my friend, is who are you?"
The accent was thick, outragous, and very, very Russian. The big man waited a second looking the stranger over and seeing that he was not armed, nor clad in the red uniform of the Dalian Guard he lowered the shotty a bit and stepped from cover. Clad in a faded blue and heavily stained 'Ceres Metals' jumpsuit with a well worn ultility belt, Markus Spiros stood in the middle of his garage like he was the lord and master of all he saw.
"T!! We got a live one here! Not Dalian.... I think."
There was doubt in his voice at the last part. There was the sound off footsteps, then a man walked out from behind a stack of armor plates. With bloody face and dressed in coolant vest, and plasteel combat boots left little doubt that the man was a mechwarrior. And that meant that the lone mech in the garage, a Blackjack must have been his.
[[Sorry guys no nifty concept art for my mech, and I'm not computer savy enough to make any. =( ]]
"You know's, I's a think yur right... Who're you's and what are you's a doing here?"
Thom walked on by the newcomer, huge knot swelling up of his head and walked on over the door. He peeked on out of it looking down the street in the direction that he came from, movement caught his eye far down the steet an ulgy brick red painted vehicle. And it was coming this way..
Thom sighed, he couldn't catch a break. He turned and strode towards the corner of the garage where the Blackjack stood silent and ready for his control.
"There's no time. You's hurt. der's an aid kit next to's da hed."
He pointed in the direction of the bathroom.
"Markus, keep's an eye on him. I's a gotta go, tank's coming."
Thom stood at the feet of Swampthing. He gazed up over his most beloved possession, it still had the green and black jungle camo that the mech had on Pacifica. Save for patches of replacment armor and the left arm which was all new armor. With antisipation and trembling hands he grasped the first rung welded onto the mechs frame and pulled himself up. He clamoured on up and swung himself into the cockpit and dogged the hatch. His ears popped as the cockpit became pressurised. Boney fingers stabbed away at buttons and consoles lit up with a miryad of colors. Somewhere deep in the bowls of his mech, the something awoke and began to purr. He plugged his coolant vest into his command console and felt the disturbing feeling of coolant slithering trough the tubes. Finally he took down his neuralhelmet from its shelf and placed it onto his head.
Voice pattern match initiated.
The computer chirped.
[Azman eat your heart out]
"I's might stay's in school, or die's in prision. Eitherway's it's my's decision."
Voice pattern match complete. Sensors online, life support online, weapons systems online, all systems nominal. Give them Hell mechwarrior.

“Aieee”, Azman piloted the Vulcan to get out of the way as the suicidal aerospace fighter zoomed by. Out of habit, both Azman and the Vulcan shook their fists (in the Vulcan’s case its HMG left arm) to the heavens for good measure.
Mech battles can get hectic and confusing very quickly. The blasting booms of PPC shots from the Thug, the lightning flash of lasers from the Flashman, the thunderclap fire of autocannons from the Jagermech, the cascading streaks of missiles released by the Bombardier, all happened in one long continuous instance of violence and rage. In the midst this melee of steel giants battling steel giants was the sight of the short Urbanmech, bravely charging forward into the eye of the storm. The old battlefield saying rang true on this day,
‘You have to be crazy to pilot an Urbie’
Azman gave a silent salute to the short city-fighting warrior.
Good luck Crazy Urbie. I will see you later.
Azman immediately focused in on his immediate concern – survival. In battle, a mechwarrior needed to be fully aware of his surroundings, of his situation. Azman nodded his neurohelmeted head, zen-ing his mind. Azman was confident he was fully aware of his surroundings, of his…

The forceful knock sent Azman and the Vulcan crashing into the nearby building.
Azman swore in corrupted periphery dialect. The electronic-counter-measures which were jamming the sensors and radars were getting to be irksome.
Azman quickly assessed where he was, his Vulcan crash-leaning against a building, and smiled. Yet another opportunity to apply the tried and true skill of playing dead. Azman nodded his neurohelmeted head. The Vulcan’s outward appearance of damage was perfect cover to give the impression of a battlemech out of commission.
“That shove of death was too much, too much!” Azman sighed, whistling as he started activating the shutdown sequence. All Azman needed to do was stay quiet, safe and snug and let everyone fight among themselves until the battle ends. Good good good. The Delian Guards Heavy Lance seemed hard pressed at the moment. As a mild spectator Azman hoped the Delian Guards would give a good fight back though. Too easy a victory on either side would make the victory itself seem less so somehow. Not that Azman cared much for victories and defeats. As long as you get paid. Azman, whistling, was about to play with his toy dinosaur on the control console when something caught his eye. Azman went to the controls and zoom in with his view cameras. Past the scenes of fire, smoke and the debris was the sight of a …
Oh no…
The acting dead Vulcan sprang to life. It limped its way, the pain on its right knee more acute with every step, towards the sight of a fallen comrade.
The Urbanmech simply lay on the streets, dying. Its barrel shaped body blasted, its right autocannon arm ripped savagely apart by explosion. The Urbanmech still struggled though, straining its left small-laser arm. The silent Vulcan knelt, grimacing at the strain to its right knee, becoming aware of its own damage as it looked down to the damage done to his friend.
The Urbanmech looked feverish, stubborn as if insisting, I can still fight… I can still fight… The Urbanmech’s small laser determined to rally, feebly.
The silent Vulcan shook its head at its dying friend, surveying the grim reality. Put your gun away Urbie. You cant use it anymore.
The Urbanmech looked up at the silent Vulcan, passed the Vulcan, looking to a place where only dying battlemechs could see…
I honestly tried… I honestly tried…
The silent Vulcan nodded. You were brave Urbie. You were brave.
Rays of light touched the Urbanmech. For the short brave battlemech, the fighting was over.
[[Let us take a moment to give a salute to the Urbanmech. The short brave mech in a big mech's world. *salutes*

45 tons medium battlemech, The Blackjack carries two Whirlwind-L AC 2 Autocannon for long range, direct fire support. These autocannons provide excellent reach at the cost of damage capability. For close combat, the Blackjack has four Intek Medium Lasers. These lasers, when combined with the Blackjacks maneuverability, make the 'Mech very dangerous in an urban setting.
The Blackjack excels is in close quarters combat because of its combination of autocannons and medium lasers, jumping capability of up to 120 meters, and heavy armour. All of which make it a devastating street fighter.
