1 PPC, 2 LLAS and 1MLAS with 13 sinks on the base model.
That's a mech that will reach out and touch someone.

That's why I, once more, suggest making some rough concept arts of how those mechs could look in MWO and adding them to the poll. Mech stats are not the only criteria(maybe not even main one for some people), mech look is very important as well. No one would want to pilot an abomination.
On topic: Merlin. Love the versatile loadout. Plus, it may be not the prettiest one but it's definitely not the ugliest.

Slackers, all of them, tell Paul a little less Thunder, a little more crack the whip.
A prelim rough sketch has got to be lying around somewhere. And we could help decide which to flesh out.

2 ER PPC, 1 AC-10, 2 ER Mediam Lasers, 2 Clan SRM 10's, 2 Clan LRM 15's, gimme that and I will drown anyone who wants to face me. The only mech I ever lost to with that mech and loadout was to an Atlas custom with 4 ER PPC cannons cus my Diashi overheated after every attack because the 4 ER PPC from the Atlas would raise my Heat index no matter how many heatsinks I had installed.

the champion doesnt even have arms. (i like gunslinging with the arms to each side)
neither has it armor or weapon for my taste.
the quickdraw is more like a jenner with rear mounted laser + the LSR10. hmmm bit more armor and no rear weapon and i would like it more.
if the game uses rear mounted weapons in a great way (like the arm mounted weapons), then i may try it to get a assassin style hit and run with 360 degree tactic with that one.
the merlin is quite ok. doesnt look too nice in the original
the lancelot has nice weapons and even great speed with SL tech.
with 4/6 speed and single heatsinks its like small brother of the marauder, with less armor and less heatsinks, but it would be my favorite of these 4. (without knowing how the heat is handled)

Not depending on amunition, wisely distributed(spread out) weapon positions, really good machine combat durability.
As commander you can only love it:
The quickest Chassi: One Call - quick and fast support, regroup, backup.

So... it is a tough decision. I think the Merlin's weaponry is suboptimal (I'd prefer it having a SRM-4 or two more HS instead of the LRM-5), plus it's a little slow, but carries enough armour to ignore that disadvantage to some degree, plus it can jump. The very low armour of the Champion and the Lancelot is a huge disadvantage, especially as neither of them can jump. But they have really classy weapon loadouts. All in all, I'll have to vote for the Merlin (but it's a really really tight call).
