1. Emblems (I'd pay $3 for a spray or two)
2. Campaign ($20-$30)
3. In-cockpit decorations (maybe a few dollars)
4. Taunts (eh, 99 cents)
5. Arena, I guess? I probably wouldn't use it, but it'd be fun to have a running leaderboard across the houses.

Nothing, as a matter of fact I want my money back as I have already paid founders, and beta has not impressed me nevermind release. Maps are small, tactics are negligible. IMO MW 2-4 had better gameplay. people will soon lose interest. There were threads in beta forums with negative points but they got locked quick. It has/had great potential but believe it or not I get better gameplay and tactical fighting from World of Tanks. I am rather disappointed as I have been a MechWarrior fan for years this just does not float my boat so to speak.
I'm sure there are all sorts of Hardcores that will rage against my post but we all know that type. It's a shame I was so looking forward to it before I started it.....

they already have the 3d models and the details for the "paint jobs"... i would imagine it would not be hard to turn a profit and it would be cool on it's own. if/when i can get back into my scat, i would do the same with it also.
i might even spring for the occasional bumper-sticker: "my other ride is a ... Shadowcat" with the text along the upper edge of a Scat silhouette (the ellipses replaced by the torso/head... i can show them a mockup if they need)

Yes, I would pay to use custom skins and decals... make everyone's Mech their very own "Hero Mech". Then, yes, I would probably buy a physical 3d model, that's a genius idea... People would pay good money for that...
Also, I would like to put a bottle of scotch in the cockpit, random trash, maybe a nudie pic taped to the ceiling. I would totally pay a few bucks for that kind or stuff. Actually a bottle of scotch and a tumbler of on-the-rocks, that sloshed around.... I'd pay more than a few bucks for that...

So for example:
Why not a simpler system and just sell gold ammo?

Trial mechs are terrible...let first time players get 1 free mech slot with capped c bill spending, I'm not going to spend money for a game still in beta if I can't access more features. Also MC credits etc and mechs in general are way too expensive. WoW is 14 bucks a month, you can go to level 60 on that. For 14 bucks I cannot really get into this game...granted WoW costs more to buy but it has a lot of real content besides just endless pvp maps.

The developers already use premium accounts as a method of income, granting a 50% bonus to C-Bill earnings.
THEREFORE:
C-bills must never, ever, ever, under any circumstances, offer any tangible in-game bonus to combat effectiveness.
Clan tech, I am looking at you. Higher cost is not an acceptable substitute for game balance.

Seriously? C-bills buy you better gear; more armor, weight-saving upgrades, AMS, etc. They certainly ALREADY and ALWAYS HAVE offered the ability to purchase tangible combat effectiveness upgrades. The only advantage that Premium confers is SHORTENING THE GRIND time to be able to purchase said upgrades. What you are saying makes no sense. There are so many people on this forum that have no idea what pay to win means.
Pay to win means that I can only buy a UBER gun with real cash and no other gun that powerful can be had with grinding only, that allows me to significantly out-damage non-paying players assuming skill is equal.

Mechs @ $2 per variant, 5-7$ per full chassis line. Current prices are asinine.
Decals, custom at $5, moderated. Post something obscene, lose your $5.
I'd pay for minor convenience items but time delimited flat xp or cbill boosts don't interest me. If I could buy a set of "missions" or Medals to complete which give cbill or xp bonuses, repeatable daily or weekly (say, spot 50 targets) I might be enticed to buy them, but it would have to be a great value 1 time purchase. Personally I'd rather see a medals type system implemented baseline.

Also 'mechs with bonafide extra hardpoints. YLW is interesting, but with only 4 hardpoints it's odd, but not special.
