I would rather the game not be F2P and my shots go somewhere within 3 seconds of where I was pointing when I clicked.
I did pay and won't regret that if there is a server down here at some point in the future. Last I heard, they acknowledged the desire for a server down here, so I'll continue to be patient and understanding.
Cheers.

Even if it were $150 I would pay for it. I love Mechwarrior and I see the potential of this game. I don't like F2P, but it really isn't my decision. I will play by the rules and still purchase things in-game.
It's just ******...
Sorry for the expletives and rude nature of this post. My future posts will be proper and respectful.

Oh Ok not fully true. I am planning on putting my normal MMO allowance into this game. about $50 a quarter. That will allow me to purchase Mech Bays and keep my premium account active. What I am looking forward to is the extension of FTP, that is subscription. $14.99 a month or $39.95 a Quarter $120.00 a Year for a premium account and Monthly MC insertion. You can do that manually now but I would Like to see it as a purchase model similar to what DDO uses. Again just my 2 cbills.
Well to summarize. I will add money to this game for more MC to extend the premium status and purchase mech bays or very special hero Mech's

- Premium matches. Instead of purchasing an entire days worth of time and loosing some time to moments when i cant play (I.E. have to sleep or the Mech hasn't left the stupid match), just give the bonus per match.
- Expensive Mech Upgrades/Parts (I.E. new engines, FF armor, Double Heat sinks, Unlocked Modules). You would still have to grind the XP, but you should be able purchase all those highly expensive parts right off the bat instead of buying and selling a Mech for cbill's or playing a large number of matches before you can afford to buy all the equipment to get your Mech to its sweet spot and having fun.
I like the first one, but isn't the second one just making the game pay-to-win?

Pay to make a player-faction, and to be it's leader, and also one or two sub-leaders. (Lances etc)
Then pay to submit a colour-scheme(s), pay to use that colour-scheme, only available to that faction's members.
I don't know how much whining it would result in if player-base organizing it self would be milked this way, but hey, that would have a potential to make a big buck for the devs.
And I have to say, that would ALMOST be something I would consider paying for

But I suppose at the same time you'd have to include a chat-filter somehow blocking all those sure-to-come begging requests...
From my view this system wouldn't mess much with the existing economy, since the c-bills would still have to be "earned" ingame (thus no simple conversion of MCs into C-bills possible). Just a way to re-distribute c-bills somewhere they will be actually spent and a nice way to make someone else happy(ier).

I'd pay some money to be able to buy the access to the Warhammer (If it's done right and doesn't look completely different from the origional), I want my Warhammer!
I'm sure lots of people would spend money to buy their favorite "Unseen" mech chassis. Personally I love the Warhammer and would be willing to spend a few dollars to get it. I refuse to spend another $60 on this game though so keep it reasonable or forget it!
Also wanted to add, the Griffin, Shadow Hawk, and Riflman!

1. That I can already buy MC (ideally substantial MC, e.g. 1000) for about 2 EUR
2. Hero- or whatever Mechs, with which I can also earn some MC- even if it is not a lot.
3. Mech-Simulator, where you can choose to play 1 vs 1 or 4 vs 4 or 8 vs 8 against opponents you MAY but need not necessarily choose. All fights WITHOUT earning XP or C-Bill payments etc., obviously.
4. Games of 4 vs 4 to 16 vs 16 (i.e. 5 vs 5 or 15 vs. 15 should work as well)
5. Ability to upload (moderator approved) Gamer-Clan - emblems
6. More roleplaying elements, e.g. which only kick in if you play against other players who have payed for the same (since it will give those players an edge over non-RP-Players because of the RP rewards). E.g.: Sepcial Modules and Module Slots, ClanTech, Storylines, Minigame: Battletech online (see: megamek.info).
7. The option to build an own "Mech HQ" (please with refinement options), e.g. for Gamer-Clans, so that when their groups drop, the group leader´s Mech HQ will appear instead of the standard on their side.
8. The ability to play on more maps. The current maps are OK for free - but myself and REALLY all people I play and chat with crave for new maps (and I mean completely new, not Forest Colony and Forest Snow). And I would gladly pay up to $ 4 for a new map I can play forever
9. I personally hate to pay real cash for anything which is not permanent - that is why I have not yet payed for camo-colours. I want to buy a colour which I then can use again and again for any of my mechs. I would happily pay about 1$ per permanent colour.
And I really hope any of you developers read this... Because, as a friend of my stated: unfortunately you do not organize these as polls. So you have loads to read... I hope you have a way to at least count the "likes" and can create a priority list from that.
Cheers for your efforts! I still love the game you made :-D

-I would LOVE to spend more money on this game.
-I LOVE the mech XP system that lets you unlock improvements to your mech performance based on how much time you spend in it. Awesome role-playing element.
-I HATE how I'm forced to buy 3 of the SAME TYPE of mechs in order to unlock the Elite and Master levels of experience upgrades.
I get how in order to be a master of something you gotta spend time in it. But I don't want to be the "Master of the Centurion". I want to be the "Master Medium Mech" or "Master Light Mech" pilot. I don't want to own 3 different customized Centurions. I want to own a Hunchback, a Cicada, and a Centurion, and be a master medium mech pilot. And then maybe later I would like to buy a Commando, a Raven and a Jenner, and be a master light mech pilot too. I would PAY LOTS OF MONEY for this to happen.
Instead, I'm not, because I don't want to spend real money on 3 customized Centurions. I'd rather just play my one Centurion long enough to make enough C-bills to buy something else.
PLEASE change this. I promise you will make more money faster.
Thank you.
After Basic, you only need 3 Elite mechs of the same weight class: Elite needs same mech, Master needs same weight class.

that seems pretty bass ackwards to me (i know that you are right i am just disagreeing with the way the system is implemented). more skill tends to come with more focus. so the lower level should be associated with general skill for the weight class and mastery should come from intimate knowledge and experience with a specific mech type.
^^although this would likely require some shuffling of skills to rebalance.

That beeing said, I WOULD spend more MC on bling-bling (cocpit items, paint jobs, etc) if the prices weren't so high.

I think of an tool that lets me setup an mech, safe the loadout and let's me choose in mechlab from different stored loadouts. That way I could easier switch between setups if I am playing with friends.
In regards of clan system I think of paying an certain amount of C-Bills for founding a merc corporation that has an corporation hangar where the members can drop additional mechs that can be used by corporation members. A Corporation C-Bills Account where members can drop money off or borrow money from.
Of course some Missions specifically for merc corporations would be fine: risk vs. reward. You pay for losses/repairs but can salvage or get loads of higher isk for finishing the task.
I would also pay for an kind of big multiplayer maps where several lances of mechs fight against each other.
In fact instead of paying for premium account again and again I would as well buy an subscription if that was available if some of that stuff is implemented.

1. Mechs - If I do not have the cbills to get the new one I want. Those with C-BIll and/or pilot skill boosts are preferred.
2. Single Player Content - Story oriented RPG style stuff
3. Co-op Player verses Environment content - story oriented RPG style again
4. The ability to host private matches so I can play with my buddies and family.
5. Campaign verses mode. A objective driven campaign that I can play through playing for House X where other players (or AI) could be running the opposing houses mechs that wish to accomplish different objectives. This would be the best if you could have multiple houses involved, all with different (not necessarily opposing) objectives.
That is about all I can think of that I would currently pay more money for.
