Hey fellas! Ok now, I am considered old by gaming standards, but from what I've noticed here, I am not alone! I am an instant uncle at age 47 at most places(like if I walk into a gamer store), but here? I don't think it quite applies, yet, for me it has become more of a personality trait, it is a weakness of mine, I seem to care, oh well.
The reason I am posting about my age is; I am not a gamer....Not that i don't have skills, but I would say,"I got my groove on" & most gamers wouldn't know that is a vinyl reference.

huh?..........lol
Pay???? Skins????exp????legends of warcraft similarities..... (JK)???? Now coffee cups and posters I know:I miss my black light velvet "Defiance" poster....
Now I am kidding a bit, but I am trying to look at the long game, I have read most of this post and understand more now, and I see some of the points of concern. It might really affect me. I will be struggling to get a pc that will do the job, I do not even own a modern gaming system. The worst of it is: I do not have INTERNET!!!
I too am considered at the poverty line, and my sweet squeeze spends my-no- "OUR" money on things we NEED(funny how that does not include my hobbies, huh, fellas) so I will need to get my funds from outside my standard income line to buy these things, pc, Internet etc.
To top it off, I will be a casual player (time), but intensely involved, I am the guy that would desperately desire to buy stuff, not because I lack "game" or commitment, only I lack time and money. What a lame combo.lol.
That being long winded.......said, I hope the stuff that is groove'n, smooth and move'n is how cash is made by these fine game developers, not the essentials.

Unless..

There is a non biased

(or affiliated) moderator type system to stop game abuse..
Think of this.......A merc. unit that all has special bought equip, special enhanced exp, the same for whatever will help them win with a decided unit edge against battle hardened poor folk!!!
All that said: life ain't fair....so here is a solution of honor..have a "Circle of Equals" for units..With no mods.. bargained well and done!!!

Wrong storyline right solution!!!!
I would find money for custom avatars, custom artwork for mech(approved by moderators p), real life items hats mugs ETC....
Also here is an idea: Make a clunky mech lab for poor folk(free), an easy sweet one for houses or units that want to upgrade, where there is a quarterly "fee to maintain" it. The house or Unit is responsible for the fee. And the fee is based on membership of said unit. SOOO, a thousand member House pays much more than a 10 member unit, like that..
Now all the members groan, dang

that uncle danno-plodder misfit..
whit yer ken?Whit's fur ye'll no go by ye
Thanks uncle danno
