- Custom fraction specific decals ( bigger smaller etc. )
- Custom decals (Kill counter, Nickname, "Puff Puff", "Hell Ya!", "Ka Boom!" and stuff like that)
- Additional places on the mech for additional custom decals ( for example on the right hip etc.)
- Custom camouflage (especially special unit camouflages, dark grey draconis combine camouflage for example )
- Cockpit and HUD colors (for example red, blue etc.)
- Custom cockpit look (color of the panels, displaced monitors etc)
- Battle magic stuff (rare stuff, custom weapons, weapon mods, experimental stuff (light railgun!?) which is also can be bought with C-Bills)
I generally hate XP and things like levels ... I would hate XP boosts.

Anything you can purchase through a micros, should be earnable through play time in the game as well. If there's going to be exclusive stuff offered then it should only add cosmetic changes to the game. (IE: Paint schemes, cockpit decorations, etc).
On purchasable C-Bills. Two things need to be addressed if this is allowed. 1st: The C-Bill:Dollar amount should be reasonable and 2nd: You should be able to earn C-Bills through the game as well.
Let me clarify the 2nd point I made. I don't want to see them allow people to purchase C-bills and then drop the C-bill payout for missions/campaigns to next to nothing.

OH! and before I forget, I would like a bulldog tank 'pet' to follow me around on the battlefield! Or maybe my own personal Helo that travels along with me to help with CAS or spotting. Those could maybe be like 5 bucks or so.

I think my statement was fine and on topic. It has been posted what they would pay for, i might if i saw the reasoning behind it.
I did get to what I would pay for didn't I?
Thank you for your thought though, we can agree t disagree. uncle danno
Still no reasoned points on why cash for xp or c- bills are good for the game....
other than the money for the company(which of course I want them to make),but I believe it could be made elsewhere.
I really want to be able to buy tones for jamming!!! I hope jamming electronics be a part of the game.. I for one would pay top dollar for the ancient battle songs on the scotts bagpipes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That said, I'm a professional 3D game artist and probably one of less than maybe a thousand or so people out of the game's target audience that would bother with that feature. And depending on how the game's art assets and shaders are constructed, it might not even be worthwhile (they may have lots of textures layered and masked together that makes single-sheet repainting less than feasible).

For instance, make the Hatchet available to everybody, but charge money for the
- Chainsaw
- Dual Saw
- Flail (spiked-ball on a chain)
- Rock Cutter
- Retractable Blade
- Lance
- Pile Driver
- Spikes
- Wrecking Ball

lol i almost posted the same thing! Would love to decorate my cokpit with that hula girl from the MW reboot trailer. I would personally love to have a pic of Buffy in my cokpit like in MWLL, haha.
I'd really be willing to pay for custom paint jobs as well. Especially if the devs can find a way to get the old paint patterns from the MW4 sims and remake them as purchaseable paintjobs. I would so love to have a hunchback with the old "warpaint" paintjob i always used in Mercs.

i definetly think they should charge for skins and that they should have a dual currency for mech ons is real mean the other in game credits and please if your reading this dont make it a grindfest thats very off putting. i shouldn't have to spend 2 weeks of winning games for one stupid cougar or puma.
here's what i think they should charge for
skins/paintjobs
rare variants- please make sure they're not gamebreaking
xp boost/ credit boosts
what not to charge for or have at all in the game
damage boosts/stat boosts please dont think of including these
and please do not charge for recording games or replays if you have that feature that will be a key feature of the competive scene if this game gets one and thats one of the things that helps the community grow
repairing of damaged mech
garage spaces/ maybe if you want to have an extra space then charge for that
and please DO NOT charge for becoming part of a clan or adding friends. some free to play games do this and is annoying as hell

Tribes for instance lets you buy XP boosts and classes but you don't need the boost to play or win and the other classes are nice and earnable with some real grinding...on the other hand the 2 starter classes they give you in the begining are great competitive classes so if you want to unlock a classic configuration you certainly can but if you only have the first couple and nothing unlocked the game is still fun.
Microsoft I think is going the other direction with Flight and charging at least for some areas/planes though how I have no idea. Forza though I believe allows you to buy credits with real money to instantly unlock any must have car right away, like the class system in Tribes. So depending on how customizing your confirguration and appearnace is actually done I might expect some unique paint jobs, xp boosts both per mech and in general, and likely the option to buy mechs you don't have the c-bills for. Which honestly if the game is fun I could see putting down some money on a mech or something.

$10 (one off) for additional pilot license for different Mechs, allows you to take in game training courses.

Pretty much nothing. I'd much rather have a light subscription fee (under $10/month) than a micro-transaction shop. A game where you have to 'keep up with the jones' who are willing to **** their money away on a video game ruins it.
This game will be, or should be, anyways, centered around mech combat and giving some chump a ranged advantage because he wants to give the game makers $5 more than the other guy isn't fair. It would be like charging $5 per 'special shot kill homing bullet' for Battlefield 3... ie, hacks. I really don't make a lot of money and I'm not going to pay more for a game simply so I can beat up on noobs and stroke my digital wiener while doing it.
I don't care what the game devs think about that, I wont pay for garbage in a store and wont pay to be competitive for any game which is why these schemes are successful for certain other 'F2P' games that have much lower overhead. This kind of game will be ruined by it where a ton of elitists will pay their thousands of dollars to support some donut eating dev who's already been paid for their work.
Now, if I were to make a game with this type of model, I think that items that make things easier such as XP boosts for leveling, some personalized cosmetic-only items, and anything else that DOES NOT give an accessible competitive advantage would be fair game.
All other content such as mechs, factions, etc, should not be bought in a shop. I think people who pay $60 for a game and then pay for a digital piece of pixels that gives you extra ammo capability, etc, is a marketing scheme: "Here, let me sell you a box with a digital store in it so I can suck your money away."
I really love the Mechwarrior/Battletech universe but as far as gaming, I have limits and paying for a ton of micro transactions...or rather, any microtransactions just to continue to get owned by jerks who say *lern 2 play* who simply pay more is not my idea of fun no matter how much 'cool make-up' you put on it.
