Or just for some other dude to catch some AC20 rounds?
I've faced it, folks. Games are bigger and better when shared. So I just had to go out and look if I could find some likeminded folk. And it's a bonus if they bring me to new games where they've grouped together already!

To me, Black Widow Company, is a team that I want to be apart of because of the guys we have here on this very game. They're continuously stride to be the best at what they do and improve, whether it's casually or competitively, they keep trying to fight the good fight. So come in, say hi, and come see what it looks like to play with an amazing outfit!
The name's MikeyB, I'm not an MWO player for these guys, but I always enjoy trying to show these guys all the amounts of appreciation I can, as these guys are so incredibly helpful to my Task Force on Planetside 2. So a little more background on me, I lead Rampage, an internal Task Force that specializes in Tanks. These guys love to come out and help me out during large operations, while they're not Mechs, they sure can make stuff explode and these guys never miss a beat to help me out.

Let’s be honest – single player games are limited by the A.I. competition . Most games are reduced to working out a flaw in an attack pattern that allows you to move thought a fight with minimum effort, or worse, you get so buffed that you finish the game with no effort, (hence the lack of “lives” in modern games because who wants to see 100s of lives left?). Difficult games are not difficult because of intelligent opponents but because the victory conditions are just so hard to reach, (see Dark Souls). This flaw is well known and has been countered for many news, since Quake, with multi-player, online games. Why look for a team ? Because intelligent, unpredictable, coordinated opponents are online and that’s where the action is.

I was an avid PS2 player who kept finding myself in outfits that were falling apart. We lacked leadership, and struggled to be competitive after our server merged with Mattherson. I grew tired of bouncing from group to group, and wanted to find a community where I could find leadership, continuity and organization. BWC is all of those things and more. We train together, win together, and have fun together. I have been in BWC 3 months, and could see myself here for another 3 years and more.

When I started with MWO only a few month ago I quickly figured out, that running around alone would get you killed rather quickly! But since I wanted to keep playing casual (as opposed to my hardcore "pro" gamer times back in the days...) I wasnt originaly looking for a team.
After two weeks however I realy had enough of suddenly beeing alone somewere cos the rest of my team decideded that it was more interesting somewere else or the general lag of coordination and communication in PUGs. So I went to this Subforums and checked the first few threads on top.

I have always been a fan of working with an organized group of players whenever I play any sort of team based game. Often times in most MMO's this means that I have to put together and run a group myself. However, with my current time restraints I didn't want to go through the hassle of building a new group from the ground up. I also was wanting to join a community that spanned multiple games, as often times I find myself getting bored with a single game after playing it so for so long. The ability to play different games while still keeping in touch with and playing with the same group of people was very much a part of the social community experienced I desired. Luckily, I found Bravo Whiskey Charlie!

I started looking for a team to play with because playing solo just isn't for me. And gaming with random PUGs is annoying. I hate getting friendly fired, I hate getting shot from behind, I hate moving forward in a group just to realize that the rest of your "group" left you behind. Plus, what is the point of playing an MMO if you don't play with other people? So I started looking around because I wanted to find a group that was organized. But I also wanted to find a group of cool people to play with.

When I started looking elsewhere, I found that BWC fit exactly what I was looking for. Haven't looked back since, and I'm extremely excited about rolling with the same group in other games as well. Even as someone who's much more familiar with PS2 than MWO, the sense of Company-wide camaraderie is incredible to experience.

A lot of games while fun, lose there luster after awhile for me as just a lone wolf. This is why I started looking for a gaming community to join.
