What is the most memorable MWO experience you've had with BWC?
The most memorable MWO experience that I've had has been a Recon Drop with the MRBC NA team during week 2. We completely dominated and had a lot of fun doing it. Victory always feels good.

What were you looking for in a MWO team, and why did you choose BWC?

I was looking for a group to play MWO cooperatively and competitively with. I wanted a team that was mature, knew what they were doing, played the game well and appreciated the lore of mechwarrior but wasn't weird about it. I saw this forum post come across my splash page and I was hooked after reading a little bit. I'm an active duty military member and I enjoy gaming with other military members. So far it's been great and i plan on sticking around for a while.

What were you looking for in a MWO team, and why did you choose BWC?

I was looking for a group that played as a team. A mature group, with no drama. While I was searching, I aw the ad for BWC "Bravo Whisky Charlie: Military-Style, Veteran-Owned", and I knew I had to take a look. What I found was more than I expected. This a group that not only believes in teamwork, they have the training, and practice sessions to back it up.

Being a new pilot in MWO, I was able to take training sessions to match my skill level. I quickly became a much better pilot. Then I was able to hook up with one of the line companies, and my skill kept improving. The great thing about BWC, it does not matter if you are a hardcore player looking for a tournament quality team, or a casual player looking to drop with some friends. There is a place for you in BWC. If you like t play other games as well, BWC has that also.

If you have a desire to improve your gameplay, in a well organized, drama free environment, log on today at www.the-bwc.com and create a forum account. Yes, we do have some requirements for all players before they can join, but it is in place to show that you are serious about joining BWC.

What is it that you are most looking forward to in Community Warfare?

I remember when I first started Mechwarrior3. I had joined a team and we played a stock CW-type campaign competition. My first match had come down to n00bie-me in my Strider, and an opponent in his Avatar. He had spent all his missiles and was just down to MLs. I had whatever lasers I had. He was pretty fresh. I was a little beat up. I wore him down for what seemed like an hour with my team cheering me on and giving me tips. I was almost dead but got the last lick in, and he fell. That was so exciting it solidified my new love for Mechwarrior. Awesome fights like that are what I hope we can have in MWO's CW.

Was looking for a group of people that shared the same passion and enthusiasm as I did in game. People that actually understood the word teamwork. Most importantly the ability to have fun!

I choose BWC because of the over 10 year history of the outfit. The professionalism shown within game by avoiding taunts and trash talk;aka being the bigger person. I also liked that they were not a one game outfit and I would have people to play other games with as well not just MWO.

Finally the motto "One Team, One Fight". Having served in the armed forces this stuck with me and finalized my decision.

I look forward to the CW game because it should add a more strategic dimension to the game. A purpose to why we do these battles. After 5,000 drops you really don’t need to prove again and again that you know how to pilot a mech.

With CW being part of a great team will become even more important since you will need more than a group of 12 elite pilots to take and defend holdings 24/7, all around the world. With BWC we have that team to make our mark.

Grab your chance to become part of this team now and join BWC.

One team, one fight!

Honestly I don't know that much about Community Warfare. The thing I am looking forward to the most about Community Warfare is that it adds some much needed variation to the gameplay. It will also serve to re-vitalize the game for a lot of the players who have been grinding away at MWO for quite some time.

Another key aspect of community warfare that I am greatly looking forward to discover is how it will impace and change tactics and communications. Not being an überskilled pilot myself, what I lack in skill I try to make up with superior teamwork and communication whenever I drop with BWC members.

Thanks to their training programs and focused drops with me I have managed to actually improve greatly as a pilot and now normally kill of a few mechs and surive the round where I before used to end up dead about 90% of time.

If you are tired of dying every drop then join the BWC

I am most looking forward to a greater set of goals – team oriented goals – as part of a larger meta-game dynamic that will come with Community Warfare. I like having pilot achievements and individual marks to hit, but nothing could compare to having something for which I know that my whole team is working towards as a complete unit. Actually having a game where there’s more to it than simply playing to check off boxes on my own personal chit will give so much more meaning and thus more fun to the experience. It can’t happen soon enough.

First of all I am looking forward to an organized team that has good knowledge of each and every member of it and knows what to do in all situations. This is a professional BWC team. We are all like that or in the process to become one. It takes time and determination and last but not least skill.

With the first part figured out now you are on the road to success but it won't be easy. There is always someone out there that knows what he's doing and will make your life harder so that is why we try to push our limits over the top and become better and better.

Join us now.

Well, I'm pretty sure that CW has an great impact in the upcoming gameplay. Besides the tournament, its a bit of a grinding game at the moment. Grinding C-bills, XP and try to get better and better. Which is absolut ok. But I think CW has an effect in playing more strategic, taking risks or not, defending your assets and so on. For example the highest rank on duty is the drop commander at the moment. There is no backup, second line of defense nor a task force. This could all be part in CW.

I'm looking forward to be part of this. Proctecting our assets and conquer the inner sphere with BWC.

Taking over the world - tho, unfortunately as a Merc Corp I think we'll help the highest bidder take over the world. I'm excited to see the non-cannon evolution of IS as we help our house of choice take planets. I'm looking forward to seeing what MWO has in store for how CW works - hoping that the platform manages the Merc Corp's drop ships, reserves mechs for specific battles and allows the Merc to grow within the world of the IS. The factions will remain, but the fun will be with the Mercs. And we'll control our own destiny, vs whatever top players happen to be in the factions and get the supreme commander titles (no idea how this will be managed).

I love the idea of watching the progress of capturing a world, I used to play a game called Chrome Hounds and it had a similar aspect of territory control. The idea that each battle counts gives a real sense of urgency and will in my opinion make people try harder because they feel they are fighting for something other than C-Bills. It will also make fighting with a team that much more important, when I'm with BWC losing is something the other team does.

So when you have a world you want taken or defended make sure BWC is on your side of the line!

What is it that you are most looking forward to in Community Warfare?

I haven't seen enough of the layout that PGI is going for when it comes to community warfare, so I'm not quite sure what I am looking forward to the most. We have a general concept of what it s going to be like, but without the specifics it is kind of hard to tell. As we are a Mercenary Corporation, we will not be directly involved in the holding of Worlds like the houses will be. I'm hoping that this means we will see more employment for offense than for defensive missions. One thing am hoping to look forward to is resource snatch and grabs. I am hoping there is a resource system in place that we will be able to do missions to capture with smaller and more nimble force structures. These stealth get in and get out missions could be pretty fun as an objective compared to what we have right now with something like Conquest where you are really just running in circles around a small map trying to outcap the other team. Outside of strict drop weight impediments, this would be a great way to make the light and medium mechs much more valuable tools in the toolbox.

Apart from private matches, drop compositions that have a use for medium mechs too, and more players in general?

I would actualy like to see some real meta game, thats what I am looking for. Currently those drops have no real connection to each other unless you are playing in a unofficial league. So if every drop actualy counts for something and theres a competition that goes beyond 12vs12 in some meta fashion that would be very nice!

Community Warfare

I Veruca Salt says it best. You may think she's singing about a goose that lays a golden egg - she actually wants Community Warfare:

"I want the works
I want the whole works
Presents and prizes, lasers, missiles, surprises
Mechs of all shapes and sizes
And now
Don't care how
I want it now
Don't care how
I want it now"

I'm looking forward to the improved match making, the mechs, etc - but what I most want to see is the expansive -Community- of community warfare. Dropships. Planets. Warfare. House on House on Clan on Merc war strategy and long term conflict with twisted metal and lakes of hydraulic fluid left in the wake of expansion.

I love the smell of PPCs in the morning. Smells like victory.

I'm looking forward to cooperating with my teammates to reach objectives and goals. It's going to be fun to watch the FedCom Civil War unfold WHILE the Clans "Invade". I think that BWC is going to be able to pick up some good merc contracts, so I'm also looking forward to earning some C-Bills. Community Warfare is going to be great. I think it's going to increase the fun factor of the game ten fold.

I'm looking forward to seeing the role of mercenary groups, such as BWC, in community warfare, and how effective they will be vs. regular faction units. I'm also curious to see how Clan mechs will be used by players who have declared for a faction that is being attacked by the Clans...

I am personally looking for the unknown factor. Being new to MWO, and not being in to any battletech stuff previously, I do not know much about community warfare. I do know, being a merc corps unit, that our goals will be different than that of the faction units. With the clan tech in place, and BWC getting stronger all the time, this is a great place to be.

What is it that you are most looking forward to in Community Warfare?

I am looking for a persistent state of affairs. In other words territory to control and battle for. Consequences to victories and losses. Rewards and bragging rights that come with it all. Rivalries and alliances that are sure to occur.

Cannot wait to see what BWC as a merc company will do compared to the Clans and the Innersphere. But most of all I look forward to doing this with my BWC outfit friends
