Wow, some real blasts from the past here..including my last CO, Dac..how are you brother?

Oh...btw..yes, I did HELP create and run the original NBT, and DP didn't take it away via 'legal' anything, I took an extended absence from the internet due to getting a divorce and moving and all that fun stuff and I asked DP to run it. There were a number of people involved in the creation of NBT, some of whom have posted in this very thread, really great to see those names again, and hopefully we can all suit up and go crush some stravags again soon. Or sit around drinking/smoking and causing the havoc we were so good at creating when CBS and SRM got together

Wow, I can believe how many people from the old Kali days are still around. I played in Grand Council with the Steel Vipers and the Registry I believe for the Free Worlds League both under the callsign Harad. I also played in the Astral Dominion with the Ghost Bears. Man, must have been around '97 or '98 if I can remember correctly. Grand Council sure was a lot of fun, the community was so into that ladder and working your way up in rank and all the RP was cool.

Yeah, I just wish some of the guys from the old Wolf's Dragoons -Registry and Grand Council, I think, under [WD]Archangel- would come back to life. I think we're all going to be relatively impressed with how this game will turn out, but I'd like to see their reactions to what's being developed here.

Really, Hmm, I could have sworn you came to me with a different story from this one Kris, and I held a grudge against DP for a very long time that he screwed over a freind, it actually led to me withdrawing my team from NBT and moving into another league. it wasnt until many years later that I attempted to rejoin NBT with some other friends.

Hawk, I'm trying to be polite and trying to let bygones be bygones, so I'd request that you just go with the statement I made earlier, if you don't mind, thank you. It was over a decade ago and nothing is served by rehashing it. The NBT most are familiar with has been a good thing and I'm just proud as all hells to have had a part in it's creation in any fashion. I was in communication with the folks who brought NBT back years ago and they had my full blessings and deepest appreciation for their great work. I was in [DCM] and CBS - KhanPhelan and LegendKiller AFAIK. So long ago but such a great time.

Yes played on Kali servers starting around '95. I only can remember a few people from the Nova Cat clan I was in. Light and Microft I think it was. Anyway I see many names from the general chat room back in those days, nice to see some veterans.

Wow... flashbacks to freshman year highschool... late nights... 28.8bps internet connections, crappy server drops... and playing MW2... I was only Kali... Grand Council mainly... later M3L and other servers... this is where it all started for me... so glad it's coming back again after so long.

I was in the GC league starting around 95 or 96. Member of JF most of the time, occasionally leaving for membership in Coyote, Sea Fox, Ghost Bear & Fire Mandrill during MW3 (which essentially killed GC, tragically).

Natch. I played some in TKZ w/ the [T]emplars (<S>!) and also in GC with clan Wolf I think, and briefly in FWL.

Don't remember my sigs from back then, but it was a blast.

Played a bit of MW4 w/ [HJ] later, but only briefly, I didn't like MW4 much.

Seems like most of the NetMech players from Kali had moved on to Tribes or Everquest by 2000 or so.

Hope MWO lives up to the hype.
